nipple area will not heal!

I had a mastectomy on 08/13 with a TE.  On 09/11 I had to be cut again as the PS said there was exposed tissue.  They cleaned it then stitched and glued the incision.  I was told not to put anything on it other than showering.  I saw the PS 2 weeks ago and he said to keep Neosporin it.  I see him in the morning and it is worse than before.  The rest of the incision healed beautifully, the TE isn't so uncomfortable (he hasn't been able to start filling) but this one area will not heal!  Anyone else with similar issue, knowledge of possible reasons this could be happening? I need something and not sure where to look!

    small part of my incision would not heal ( incision after implant removal).  It was due to an under treated infection.  10 months and five surgeries and 20 rounds of antibiotics later, I went to  infectious disease expert at Hopkins, got 8 weeks of the correct oral antibiotic and it finally healed!  I wish you the best!

    I have had my nipple done and get my tattoo next week.  Just wanted to pop and say that I sincerely hope this works out for you soon.  Maybe it already has!  Will be thinking of you.
