I believe Cabbage Night, quite!

Hubby said that he is definately going to my next appointment with onco. He has had it with her and he is going to hit her with lots of questions and if she changes her story, he's going to tell her that was not what she said the last time he had been with me at an appointment and now he wants the truth!
On a better note, today I see my BS. She is so cool!
-
Mommy- starting writing those questions down so you have them before you go. I hope your visit with the BS goes well today.
-
Good morning hermits. I hope you have a good day...
.

he he he, love the cartoons! Happy Halloween all.
Gettin a tx of cancer killah right now. Had a danish for breakfast, yum! After chemo, goin home to rest and do absolutely nuthin. Wish I felt more festive but meh, whatevah. DH is a diamond...he did not sleep well, and refused to let me come to chemo alone despite that! So i am grateful once again for him.
Have a great Friday Hermies!
-
Already putting questions on paper.
Well I was gonna do laundry today but with arthritis acting up because of bad weather coming, that's been pushed back to tommorrow
I always enjoy seeing the BS. She's great and always makes me laugh. Don't forsee any problems with this check-up. She made me smile the last time I was there when she told me I no longer need to have the dreaded mammo because of the surgery!
-
Bippy- sorry you are not feeling well. I was in the middle of things in 2012 when Halloween came and went and wanted no part of it. I did some things last year, but opting out of it this year. Hermits may not be into this holiday really.
Mommy- sorry about the arthritis and hope your weather passes and you feel better. You sound positive about your BS visit.
Blondie and Cami- are you guys doing okay?
-
Thnx Jazzy! I'll feel better when the rain finally starts or I either put linament on the area that is hurting or I lay on a heating pad!
Week is ending better than it started. Just got my Cervical Cancer test results and they were normal!
Woo hoo! Happy Dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
*Good Morning Hermits*
MO, yes, excellent results!
Bippy, rest up!
-
Great news, M0!
So here was my morning:
DH put up a gate thingy behind our new pit group to keep the cat from using it to sharpen her claws. I'm walking back to the kitchen from the back door after letting the dogs out, and my foot catches the edge of the gate. Down I go, landing on my better knee and bad elbow. Cat takes of like a flash, cousin comes running, "I'm calling an ambulance!" "No, I'm ok!" She helps me up, I'm really ok but I have a "mouse" on my knee and I'm definitely limping.
Fast forward an hour or so, she's feeding the animals before she goes to church to help out. Can't find the cat anywhere. She's so skittish (the cat, not the cousin) that when she took off when I fell, she could have gone anywhere. Finally found her the second time we looked under my bed. By now I'm really limping.
Fast forward, cousin finishes getting ready and heads off. Minutes later, she's back – she has a flat tire.
Can I take a mulligan? Or maybe a Vicodin? Ok just ice.
P.S. So I go to post this, "your iPad is not connected to the internet." I'm not even going to ask what next.

OH Mags I came right over to read what happened to u. I'm so sorry, u'd better stay put and maybe ice every 20 minutes or so to help with the swelling. It's hell to fall and then get up, so I think u should keep u'r leg up especially.
Bippy it's so nice to read how nice u'r DH is what a great help that is for u.
Mo I'm gad u r really going to change Drs. Jazzy always has great advice, she's very organized, just get away from that whole group.
Teka funny pics--u've always been so funny to me. From day 1
Jazzy I admire u for u'r energy and organization u r one true Lady and very independent too.
Lily please don't ever feel like u'r not contributing, u certainly did today. I know we all wish we can somehow help u, but we don't know how. Except come here as often as u can jst to tell us how u'r doing--U'r the one that it's about so we have to try and help in any way possible. Talk as much as u want to maybe somehow just writing things down can help and we're here for u.
It's Halloween --oh goody. Joey is going as a vampire--how original, but I love the cape and I' going to wear it for myself not as a costume but as a cape.
Sally u guys know Joey is taking clarinet lessons, (oy vey) Comes to mind the movie The good, bad and ugly---the good is he does his practicing, the bad is he thinks he's good and the ugly is he does his practicing. When the pets put their little paws over their ears what can u say?
-
Bippy- hilarious board from the nurses. Too cute. Hope you feel better soon.
Magdalene- ouch.. they say bad things can come in threes. So now you should be good for the rest of the day.
Teka- great photo.

Hi ladies- back from personal training and end of month #2. Some very positive results to share. When I began in early Sept, my body fat around my organs was over 50% (not good). I have dropped to 40% as of this morning's measurements (25% loss!) as we have focused on burning the fat and building the muscle. I have also lost 5 inches around my waist. Now we are focusing on burning the fat for me to get the excess weight off. My goal is to get my % body fat to the low 30s and my waistline closer to 35. Thirties are the magical numbers.
I am very pleased with this training and getting that fat off around my organs will help keep my bc risk down as well as cardiovascular disease. I plan to continue with this until end of December until I am further along with where I want to be. I am retraining myself how to exercise better for optimal health.
Mags- so sorry about the fall and take it easy today and ice that knee bump. You have had a time of it lately.
Bippy- that is a cute picture.
Mommy- congrats on the other tests.
Cami- can you post a picture of Joey in his vampire costume? Thank you for your compliments, I am appointing you president of my fan club!
Teka- I saw that cute picture on FB today too!
Gotta get on a call. My halloweeny is busy.

Well I'm in the recliner with ice on the knee and a cup of coffee. The good news is cousin does not need to go to the church. She was going to be helping with the flowers and I told her, don't do it! She just laughed at me. I said, well, take DH's buckskin gloves! We can't have you bleeding all over the flowers! But she doesn't have to go and I'm relieved. AAA came and now she's off to get the tire fixed. Oh dear, what trouble can she get into now?
-
Jazzy I said it when u start something u go all for it. Congratulations on u fat.LOL U'r really ding good.
Mags u and u'r cousin should stay very close today.
Hey Teka.

It didn't post Jazzy, but he looked like a good vampire, we had to tell him not to smile. LOL
-
Visit with BS went well. She looked at the CT Scan report and she's not convinced the spots are cancer either. She thinks its something else, so she is going to talk to MO! Don't see BS til May!

Cami- thanks for the supportive words. I am glad Joey had a good time. A smiling vampire........
Onco- snow already. What a lovely poem.
Mags- you sound like you are just where you need to be. You are very fortunate to have the cousin who is helping you through this. Your angel.
Just came back from a really needed massage. My body has been sore from the work outs, travel, and you know, life in general. I feel much better and going to hang out at home tonight and hide from the trick or treaters. I saw some out early here on my drive in too. We have about another 90 minutes here before we go dark for the evening.
-
Onco, Thank You!!
Tomorrow, packing away Spring through Fall clothes. Brrr!
-
Teka- I started doing that and may need to do more this weekend. It is going to cool down further now. Geraniums coming in this weekend.
-
You are going to like this. Some folks I work with at the hospital client dressed up and went to the children's ward today where many children are facing serious illnesses, including the one little tyke in this photo. It just warms my heart so to see this.
-
No better way for adults to spend Halloween then cheering up sick children!
-
I crashed after a very delicious massage mid afternoon and slept my way right through Halloween night. I woke up for a bit, and now there are t-storms going on out there making it noisy tonight. I heard we might get some storms as a cold front is coming through this weekend.
Hope everyone else is having a peaceful sleep tonight.
