ok peggy I have to learn how to post pics
-
Peggy,
Thanks for all your help with the pics. Isn't DH a real hunk? We have been together since we were 14 yrs. old and have been married nearly 36 yrs.! We get along SO well it is scary. And we always have a good time no matter what we do! He is my best bud, my drinkin' buddy and my chief caregiver and drain changer when I've had surgery.
I have to see my PS this morning to talk about some minor revisions. It's too early to drink, but I'll be thinking about you all later on when I am working until 8 pm. Ugh!
Jan -
Biker, love those pics. That girl doesn't look real!!
You and hubby look like you are having a great time.
I got a motorhome, a 1997, and I love it. It's a 36' class A with a slide out. My daughter and I love it. -
peggy............i "pfft'd" at your post!
-
Hi Terynsmom,
We are getting a 1995 classA, 30' motorhome. We didn't want to spend a lot of money at this point. When we have more time to devote to RVing, we will get something a little bigger and fancier. I can't wait to take the grandkids out for the weekend. Although we won't be able to drink then. Must be responsible adults. Pooh!
Cheers!

Scourge
Lying together in bed
As I cradle your weary head
And I dont know what Id do with out you
Tear drops stain my cheek
And youre the strong one and Im the weak
And I dont know what Id do without you
You battle that nasty scourge
And cancer should be a four letter word
And I dont know could I live without you
You burst the air from my lungs
Oh when you told me I spoke in tongues
And I dont know what Id do without you
Life is a precious thing
Try so hard to avoid deaths sting
And I dont think I could live without you
Youre much more than my wife
Oh thru the years youve become my life
I dont think I will live without you
You battle that nasty scourge
And cancer should be a four letter word
I dont think I will live without you

this was written by my loving husband for me & how he felt at the time of going through this journery with me. Hope it will measn as much to uo as it does to me. As he signs it around the campfire tonight with all he heart -
Scott is my housekeep, che chef, does the laundry, sishesm watched the kids, he is my all. Wjen he writes songs like that one I know how much I mean to him.God blees our other halves and all they've gonthrough to!
-
Oh Peggy - I got it, I was rushing out to work, but I did think it was cute that you wrote that, clever and funny and I am sure true!
-
Ok Shel,
What's "pfft'd"? Everyone's getting this but me.
Saw my ps yesterday and I am having "revisions" done on 10/16. Actually he is replacing both implants with
slightly smaller ones, to soften them a little. One of them is sitting too far to the left (bc side of course) and my arm rubs it constantly. No wonder I drink ! As if I ever really needed an excuse. He's going to fix the pocket and hopefully I will have a matched set.
If this doesn't go well, I will be looking for a new doc. I'm really scared of having more surgery , but my left boob is really misshapen and I hate it.
Jan -
Cheryl,
That is wonderful that your husband would write that song for you! It sounds like you picked a winner!
Jan -
Shel, would you like to explain "pfft'd" to Jan?
-
