OH good, you have Klonopin.  You are only 2 days post op??  Remember your body is stressed from surgery,, definitely take it easy.

Hopefully someone will be able to give you more information about BP readings on the leg,, I'm afraid I don't know.

Blood pressure on the leg runs a bit higher than the arm (mine, for instance, is about 10 points higher). If you're having a leg blood pressure taken you should be lying down for a couple of minutes before they do it, and you should be relaxing (not talking) while it's being taken. I found when I first started using leg bp that it made me crazy and tense because I didn't know if they were doing it right.

Once you've recovered you can stroll over to your local fire department and ask them to do a leg bp for you every few days, so you can get a leg bp baseline, since it's different from arm bp.

Let us know what you discover.

    Gentle hugs,
    Binney

Thanks, Binney and Glennie for the advice! Something's not quite right. My sister-in-law noticed a little while ago that my ankles have swelled up. I've never had such a thing before! Then I remembered I'm supposed to be keeping my legs propped up when I can, and I had been sitting around visiting.
