night ladies and my best to all -
Made it to the Chiropractor today. He was able to releave some of the pain and said it didn't look like the muscel relaxers were working to keep icing & heating for 20 min each ending with ice. He hasn't seen me this bad.
So As I lay in the medic wagon I think of all the souls affected by today memories. I pray that they can find peace wherever they may be. Remember to take the time to stop & hug someone you love and tell how much you love them. As with our fight you never know if you'll ever get another chance to say "I LOVE YOU" so do it today and everyday.
Hugs and prayers to all and pass me some more pain meds! -
I tried to read a bunch of the earlier posts on this thread today - wish I'd been here at the beginning! I can't catch up much at home because we only have dial up out here in the country.
But man - I coulda been the cookie for this wagon train! I got the black cast iron pots to cook in, and I do know how to cook outside! If I could remember how to post pictures, I'd do so!
We just did a Dutch oven cooking thing for Hospice a week or so ago, and we & our group put 19 pots of food on the table that evening: Ribs, pork loin, potatoes, jambalaya, tamale pie, baked beans, southwest hominy, fried okra with jalapeno, Southwest ranch beans, tater tot casserole, mac & cheese, homemade breads, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, turtle cake, beef & noodles, chicken pot pie. I think that's all. It was dang good eatin I tell ya! And all cooked outside! And we raised some money for the local hospice. I'd cook for you ladies anytime!
evilelf - ketchup on calf fries is a sacrilege! haha! Ronda -
Ronda I think you the new Cookie for this wagon train, welcome back I've meissed seeing your posts
-
Ok, Rhonda, you are now the official cook!!!
Has been a somber day. I choose to remember the people in the towers, their families, the passengers on the planes and their families, firefighters, policemen and all those that gave so much that day. Tonight, as NS requested, can we just include everyone who knows loss, pain and suffering -
Circle Girls, lets pull our wagons into the heart shape. Sorry but I could only find red lights to put on top of our wagons (no snickering) Here we go ------
Didn't we do good?
Love, hugs and blessings to all - Brenda -
just sending a hug to all the circle girls...
Rhymee did have good news ?
Ronda? You are the official cook! Done. You're IT.
Thank you for all who took a moment to remember this day. -
Ronda, I think it's unanimous - you're the cook. It's been a somber day tody - I haven't watched any of the 9/11 stuff on TV, just couldn't bring myself to do it.
Margaret -

Peggy -

Brenda- BEAUTIFUL PIC!

I've thought about 9/11 all day today. And we watched the special on Flight 93 on tv tonight, that's the only part I could bring myself to watch. Those folks were real heroes.
I always remember - and am always thankful = that my cousin John was not at the Pentagon that day. Ronda -

Carrie -
Well, you can always count on me for morning watch. Its a very nice morning. It rained all night so the ground is wet, but Im sitting outside - what a wonderful smell - early morning in the woods after rain. (well except for where Denise is peeing lol) I can tell Fall is coming. Lots of leaves on the ground. And a twinkle of them starting to change colors. Oh I hope we have a wonderful Fall here in the circle. I would love to see the Autumn colors. It is always beautiful when the sunrise comes and sparkles on the trees.
I have fresh coffee brewing. Shhhh! dont tell anyone. Im sneaking over to Cookies tent. Trying to make subte noises. Hoping she will wake up. And then hoping even more she will make a good old fashioned outdoor camping breakfast.
Cookie and laura - it is so good to see you both again.
Flea - you have a special spot in the middle of the circle. I have read your posts, and I know you are having a rough time. Physically and emotionally. We are here for you. We will try to make you comfortable, and maybe we can make you smile too!
Cheryl: You just stay in the medic wagon. I hope you can get the pain under control. The moral to the story? I think everyone of us should never have to clean the house again! We should all have housekeepers - for free of course. Now wouldnt that be nice.
Ahh, the sun is starting to come up. The trees have green moss on their trunks from all the rain and wetness. Its peaceful. Its pretty.
Good morning all. Im sipping my coffe and waiting for cookie to wake up. COOKIE! omg I just yelled her name. I didnt realize there is an echo here. But rondab - your name just echoed about 6 times until it disappeared over the mountain.s
Nicki -
Nicki, I came to join you. Any coffee left or should I brew another pot? Is Cookie up yet? Flea, sending lots of healing thoughts your way.
Margaret -
Tip Toeing around looking for the leftover coffee. It's only 9:15 am in the midwest, maybe I should make another pot for all us just starting to rustle around.
Sending sweet soft prayers, the brighest healing white light and postive energy to:
JoJo, TracyG, Denise, RobinTN, Mena, TinaIrene & John, KarenFL, little Trenton, Flea and Tim (my friend)
((((hugs))))
Today is a new day, let's make the most of it. Have a great day, practice random acts of kindness and see how you feel when you get into bed tonight. -
I'm more a brunch cook than a breakfast cook - guess I shoulda warned y'all that my energy level ain't quite what it used to be!
How 'bout a Huevos Rancheros casserole? Tortillas, refried beans, chopped green pepper, onion, fresh tomaters, maybe a tiny, finely chopped jalapeno. Topped with eggs if you like, picante sauce, cheese, whatever.
Cookie -
Oh my looks like I showed up just in time for rondabs cooking. Need any help slicing and dicing the green peppers, onions, maters and jalapenos? I cant slice and dice all that you need if you will do the cooking. Starting the morning off with refried beans could be interesting?!? Nobody get to close to the fire after eating those or we may have a forest fire. Thank goodness the ground is wet from all the rain. It is still raining here in Alabama so setting up our EZ up tents so that we can be outside enjoying the fresh air. Those of you that need to stay inside and rest feel free to do so and we will bring you a nice plate when it is all cooked.
Morning rounds are complete and everything is safe in the valley. Love to all my circle friends. Amy -
Lunch time on my coast....thought I would do some fried turkey sandwiches....fresh lettuce from the garden and whole wheat bread....
Mustard at my house but we always have mayo too....
lunch well... stocking up on blakets to prepare for the cooler weather anyone need one?....
hugs MB -
((((((((((((((((((((((LAURA))))))))))))))))))))))))
Sorry hon...it was a typo LMAO.
Hugs
Peggy -
I wanted to check in and let you all know how thankful I am for this circle, the love and care here is so comforting. Nicki, I really appreciate everything that the red cross wagon is providing, you were right, the back rubs, massages, and pain meds have been wonderful. Keep it coming, please. My pain seems worse today, I'm not sure why, but the MRI's are tomorrow and maybe I'm just more nervous and tense. I'm trying really hard to stay calm, but it's hard.
I thank you all so much for your prayers, and positive thoughts, and I ask that you please continue, the MRI's are tomorrow, and then the wait for the results begin. I'm feeling so many emotions right now. I'm afraid and I'm nervous, and I'm angry with myself for being afraid and nervous. I'm sorry, I'm just really tired and in a lot of pain right now, I'm sure everything will be fine.
I think I could use another back rub, and some more pain meds.....I'm heading back to the red cross wagon.
Thank you again for everything.
Love,
JoJo -
Rhymee got more hugsssssssss cause rhymeee is a VERY big gal.......takes more.....many more....
