I would think, no longer then 1-3 months!

Good morning, Hermies. Haven't felt much like talking, though I'm not doing too badly as long as I don't move around too much. That still gets me short of breath. But they really don't know what it could be other than "atypical pneumonia". No fever, no real coughing or congestion. Oh well.
Bippy, if you love old scifi, especially old bad scifi, you'd probably enjoy my DH's favorite. It's a spoof of old scifi movies called The Lost Skeleton of Cadavara. It's a hoot. It's what we watched when our company was here. Your comment about the dresses they wore being inappropriate for the action was spot on – right down to the string of pearls.
Jazzy, don't let the you-know-whats get you down. It's part and parcel of self employment. Also the part I hated most. So glad I could retire and be done with them. Now I get to hang out with all my friends (they all live in my computer, dontcha know).
Teka, beautiful fall. I miss New England this time of year. Eat a Macintosh apple for me, willya?
Lily, hope you can get some relief, glad your liver seems ok.
Blondie, two weeks is not very long unless you're waiting for a vacation, amirite?
Cami, don't work your fingers to the bone with the phone.
Onco, moos.

Teka- LOL! Well, I hope it was a nice walk at least!

Ladies, it's been a long, tiring week. This is all I have to say:
-
mags, I love all that stuff and spoofs are even better! Mystery Science Theater is hilarious as well. I think I was a housewife from the 50's in a former life! Love the heels and pearls...
TGIF is right. Bippy is doing very well, 7 days out from last tx and feelin groovy! A dear friend is visiting with her new beau tonight, have not seen her in years. Gonna try to go out for early supper at a funky tiki hut place on the water at dusk.
Am starting a new venture on Etsy, wish me luck! Selling raw materials for artisans to craft with.....hope it brings in a bit of jack. It is a fun thing too, involves a bit of creativity in locating and prepping the products.
Today I am out searching for materials and then chillin out till friend visits. Have a wonderful day Herms!

*Good Afternoon Hermits*
I think our laptop is going through slow death.
Cami, you party animal.
Bippy,

Hi hermits- busy day starting with my Friday intense core/cardio work out with the personal trainer. We are upping the weights, and doing so much more now and she is helping me to see my progress with where I started, things I was afraid of going into this, etc. I won't be able to go again until next Friday, once I am back and settled from my trip to Santa Clara. But will be keeping up with my cardio (packing work out gear in my suitcase today for my time at the conference). I am staying at a nice Hyatt and also will get to see the new San Fran 49-ers stadium for our welcome reception!
Teka- I have had so many weird technical issues today with my home office stuff here, from my home network wigging out on me to problems with my printer and more. Things are working themselves out, and hope you are not loosing your laptop. I had a hard drive failure this year and they can go out suddenly or die that slow death. Are you still on Windows XP by any chance?
Hope everyone else is doing okay today. I have the cleaning company here (I only bring them in once a month now for a good deep cleaning) and have to finish a status report.
Anyone have anything fun going on this weekend?

Sweet Dream!!
-
Jazzy and Teka ... coffee and a boat to dream in ... perfect!
-
Having my coffee and trying to get the caboose in gear to get something done today!
-
I find easier said than done!
-
Good morning hermits- caboose need to get going here too, but just getting my coffee going. Speaking of coffee, just bought some Guatemalan from Starbucks yesterday, yummy!
Got myself packed, some errands done, travel docs together, and feeling more ready to go on my trip tomorrow. More to do today, and then I am off to the bay area in the morning for my conference through Wednesday. I probably will not be here as much this week, but will be thinking of all of you each and every day!
Hope you have a good Sunday! Beautiful photo too, Teka.

*Good Morning Hermits*
I've never taken diet pills, but need to diet.
-
Jazzy, I used to go to MacWorld conventions in San Francisco when I first had my business back in the '90's when they held them at Moscone Center. I loved it then, but I know it's changed a lot since then. I would ride the trolleys and go to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. One time when I was there with another artist we rented a car and drove up the coast to Muir Woods and Sausalito. Back to SF and Golden Gate Park and the Conservatory, which is actually one of my earliest memories. When I was not quite 4, my dad was stationed in what was then Occupied Japan. My mom packed up us 4 kids and drove from San Diego to SF where we spent a couple of days with dad's brother & family before the ship left to take us to Japan. I have a picture of us outside the Conservatory. it was cool to go back and see it unchanged.
Scheduled to have last chemo tomorrow, pending MO's approval. Hoping to have it done with.
-
Good luck with the last chemo Mags!!
Shirley

Mags- your time in SF sounded wonderful. I used to work in an executive job in the early1990s and traveled to the bay area all the time as my company had an office there, as well as in Dallas, and in Hartford where I lived a the time. I took advantage of my time when I was out there and often spent an extra day either going up to wine country or going into the city. We may have been out there at the same time!
I had hoped to extend my visit to do some things in the city and connect up with a friend who lives north of the bay area, but just could not do it this trip with just starting back to work again. Flying in tomorrow and back out wed night, back to the client site for contract meeting with a software vendor on Thursday morning. Cash flow rules right now.
The conference is going to be in Santa Clara and there will be a welcoming reception in at the nearby 49ers stadium. Do we have any 49er fans here?
And I hope you breeze through this final chemo session. I hope you are feeling recovered from the pneumonia also, and can put this chapter of the treatment behind you soon.
Teka- despite doing all this personal training, I am still not loosing the weight so I am going back to something I know worked before and was recommended by someone else on another thread. No processed carbs after 2 p.m. Meaning breads, pastas, etc. which I don't eat that much of anyways, but my trainer confirmed this is a good way to reduce the carb load end of the day.
I find it nearly impossible to loose weight on the AIs too. I went off them for a month last year and immediately lost 10 pounds. Sigh. It is frustrating to me the docs give you this protocol and tell you too loose weight but the meds keep you right where you are. Doube sigh.....
Beautiful day, going out soon in the convertible! She needs some gas.....

MY TATTOO -
