Did anybody do the hcg diet b4 getting diagnosed??

I started HCG in September 2013 and was diagnosed in March 2014. However, the lump I had found two years prior had been cleared and I was told it was nothing. So my cancer was already there.

I have a daughter with Down syndrome born when I was 29 years old. There is a study out linking the pregnancy of a baby with Down syndrome from age 30 on to later breast cancers due to the increased levels of HCG in the system. If I had known this I never would have started the HCG injections. Not that it affected my cancer but it just doesn't sound good in general after reading this study. If the prolonged exposure to HCG during a pregnancy of a baby with DS increases the mother's risk of breast cancer in the target age group by 23%, then why wouldn't the HCG injections have the same effect? 

I don't know what your friend was doing. Mine was medically supervised by my doctor with FDA approved (medical grade) HCG. It was not marketed as a "diet".

All I can say is that I am not the only one that did this diet (supervised by a doctor HCG, not the over the counter stuff) to have been dx with breast cancer. The hospital where I go for treatment is a teaching hospital and they may do a study on HCG and breast cancer. The drops I took even though it stated Hormone free, had a synthetic hcg in the bottle, which was labeled on the bottle. My Breast oncologist told me it would still cause more estrogen to come out in the body. So my personal belief is my breast cancer was related to this HCG. There was no prior dx or any issues with my breasts prior to September last year. Started this diet March 2014 to be dx 6 mths later. I may have already had something growing, but maybe this brought it out sooner.

I took Hcg 123 and lost 30 pounds, about the same time I felt something hard while lying down on the side. After the first tests, Doctors thought that I probably had a 1 or 2 inch tumor, The size of my tumor was 7.5 inch.

I thought that maybe the hcg made my tumor grow so fast and big...i would love to know if more women went through the same..

Luce, thos over the counter drops don't even have a detectable a amount of hcg in them. More than likely you found the lump because you had lost weight & had less "padding" on your breasts covering it up.

I took hCG also. I took homeopathic drops the first time and lost some weight, about 16 pounds. Then I took the real stuff that I ordered from India and mixed from the vials myself into drops and I didn't lose anything. Then gained it back a few years later. Followed Dr. Simeon's diet with both.

My sister did the homeopathic patches. Another friend did the pellets. Both homeopathic. They didn't lose any weight to speak of. My best friend did the same as I, homeopathic, then Indian mixed. She also lost a little, then none, then gained it back.

My sister, friend, best friend...none of them have breast cancer.

Melissa is correct, listen to her...NO hCG IS CONTAINED IN THOSE HOMEOPATHIC DROPS, so those of you who took those, there is no hCG in those so they did not cause breast cancer. And also, if you bought yours from Walmart or Costco or Sam's or GNC or anyplace else you've heard of, they have no hCG in them!!! Or if you bought them online and they flat-out said they were homeopathic...not hCG.

hCG was the first thing my husband and daughter blamed when they heard of my breast cancer diagnosis. (No family history of breast cancer.)

I don't know if hCG causes breast cancer. I can't find any good, solid research or proof. I've only found a bunch of opinion. You guys are the only possible proof or connection we have, so please keep posting!

Yes, I did for about a year! Also, I have a biological child with Down syndrome. I had no idea a study existed where it was found being pregnant with a child with Ds causes the hcg levels to increase, which can increase your risk of breast cancer.
