What a nerve-wracking day!
I almost did not make it to my ct scan
appointment. There was a problem getting someone to access my venus
port. But the scan went on as scheduled.
Later in the day I was
in a car accident. It was the other party's fault, but she insists it is
mine. I have an appointment tomorrow to have my damage fixed (front
bumper and headlights!). I was not physically hurt, but I felt messed up
mentally.
When I finally got home my younger says, "Your doctor left a message." Oh no. Not today. Today is my unlucky day.
Doctor's
message: "Good News. Scan looks much better. Will talk in greater
detail when I see you Monday. We will decide whether to continue or
change to monthly injections."
Wow, to me this is good news in a
very huge way. This means the new chemo has been working and I get to
pick from two things: more chemo or monthly injections. I wish I could
say, "No treatment!" but after two weeks of no chemo I feel great again.
I will find out what my doctor thinks on Monday. -
Wow Adnerb! You are right, what a day!!! Thank goodness you were not hurt in the accident but then the day ended on a fantastic note!! Yay! for the chemo working for you, that is really great news and so nice of your doc to ring to let you know. Good luck on your discussion at your appointment!
Hi everyone!!! Still wishing I could make another luncheon......lol.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Or you can try this link to reply if you can make it. I'm not sure if it will work for you to reply but at least you can leave us a message whether you can make it or not (or maybe).

Hi. I need a favor from you lovely ladies in San Diego. I have just finished treatment for my cancer but my step childrens mom is Stage 4 and does not have much time left. Myself, family and friends want to send here from Canada to San Diego for a week. I need advice where they should stay. The boys are in their twenties and love to surf. I want something high end, waterfront and a 1 or 2 bedroom suite. Any help at all is so appreciated.

you ladies look great! So sorry I missed it, I was swamped putting together a Halloween party for my son. I was so tapped out, my husband usually helps a lot, but he is in Australia ( for work, but he had a couple days of fun first, the bum!)
Anyway, party was awesome, the kids had so much fun, all worth it, but it seems like today I am sick
with a chest cold. so glad I didn't join you and pass it on to anyone. Brenda, how are you doing? And Cheryl, you are amazing!! How awesome to do a spin class for fundraising!
Hope everyone is well, and had a nice time Sunday, hope to join you next time.

My last scan brought good news, so my MO said 3 more infusions and I get to try Faslodex. The day after my infusion last Friday I had an extreme case of vertigo. I felt better Sunday but decided to stay horizontal. I am much better now. MO ordered a brain MRI. No ear infection.
Hugs,
Brenda
-
Hope you are doing better! 😎

Thanks, Liz! I feel better, but anxious about MRI on Monday.
Hugs,
Brenda
