I will be getting nip tattooing done sometime in the near future, but I was contemplating getting a little something "extra" for my foob that would be special. I've never gotten a tattoo before, and I really haven't looked into it yet. The thought is kind of exciting though.

Good Morning Hermmies----I'm not forgetting u. I'm just to lazy still to be on the computer.
Jazzy I still love the balloon ride pics--Altho I wouldn't pay 300.00 to just get sick, I get that for nothing.
Lily tell us how everything goes and I hope it all goes well.
Bippy always give u'rself permission to just go with the feeling of the day, cuz it's usually different.--I was very lucky I didn't have depression or sadness, I guess I'm a cold b*tch. Whenever I watch so called sad movies I never cry, my kids can't understand it. But I do have crabby days and that's when I prefer to really be alone.
I had to laugh at all of us always mentioning our laundry, u think we've accomplished a scientific discovery--We really never talked about it years ago, but now it really is an accomplishment.
Teka I love that cute grey kitten pic, my cat is gray so right now I'm partial to it.
Blondie how nice to go to u'r shore life for a few days--always relaxing. Hope u'r feeling well.
Mags I love that blanket and it's funny cuz a blanket used to be just that a blanket, but when u cuddle up a lot it wonderful to have a cozy one that looks pretty. And u'r cousin is a doll and so glad u had a good weekend even tho it wasn't long enough it was still beautiful. I have 2 that I love both presents and very thoughtful for comfort.
You know if someone told me they were getting a tattoo 10 yrs ago, I would think they are crazy and now I get so excited hearing someone getting one. If I could afford it I would get something--I think they are so cool now at this age.
Monis how are u doing?
All the horrible weather missed our area yesterday--wow some big storms but we did have pretty constant rain and again today. Fine if it's just rain.
Oh I have one SIL I simply love--I live with them---but my other SIL I have a hard time being in a room with him and so does everyone else which makes it harder for me to be closer to my oldest DD, but I think he likes that anyway and he calls me Mom and it goes right thru me
Oh and Joey had a great time at the scarecrow festival with his best girl friend--they are so cute together and he's such a gentleman with her and her parents just care so much for Joey and are so nice to him;;My baby is growing up but he still likes doing my hair LOL
I'm hoping my meds kick in soon, I told u my thyroid stopped again and my electrolytes are low so no energy for me, BUT I did wash clothes yesterday hahaha And this Sat. I'm going to my GF surprise BD party, it'll be at 6PM, I'm not used to going anywhere in the evening anymore so I'll really have to rest up for it. I'm so happy to go. It's at a restaurant so that's nice fr n cleaning up for anyone. And I've been kind of busy with work but I notice people are getting angry this time of year they want me to tell them how mch the job is, I have no idea and then they want a ball prk figure-Ha I asked them what does a ball ark cost? they've answered I dunno, well that's how much I know.
OK I have to get my work stuff in order, silly things like a pen I can find easily I don't have a desk so it's not always easy.
I hope everyone has a good day.
-
Good morning hermits- wow, lots of conversation yesterday. I had busy day yesterday starting with a 7 a.m. personal training session, a full day at work, and then some grocery shopping after work. Today will be a much busier day at work.
Mags- what a cute blanket! It looks very snuggly and am sure will help you to think of the love of your friend who gave it to you.
Teka- what a beautiful seedum! Thank you for sharing.
Onco- they do teach you what to do when you crew. My trainer told me yesterday she is a few hours from her balloon pilot's license. I won't even tell you how much the whole balloon set up costs.
Blondie- I am glad you are going to get your tats this weekend. I want a picture!
Bippy- glad you are doing better and felt like doing some cooking. I think it will be less overwhelming to get through the rest of chemo without having to think too much about recon yet. They can try to drag you through all this stuff a bit too fast sometimes.
Cami- Joey sounds so cute with his little girlfriend. He sounds like such a nice young man. You will always be his #1 girl. I am glad you have a party to look forward to.
Lili- thinking of you today as you approach your doctors apt. Fingers crossed for good outcomes.
Must hop in the shower and get my day going. Wishing everyone here a good day.

good morning Hermettes
I woke up this morning astonished to find that I feel pretty good. Also I was actually hungry, made breakfast, and enjoyed it immensely. the nausea that I had had for months is gone. The diarrhea is gone. The awful Smell thing is gone. The overall feeling of being hit by a truck is reduced by about 95%. It's miracle because I am only five days post treatment number four.
I think I finally found the right combination of diet and meds. I'm glad because frankly I don't know if I could've continued much longer the way I was going. I was thinking about stopping chemo before all the rounds were done.
Now I am back and kick ass mode! Could not have done it without you girls being there for me. I hope it continues, but I feel strong enough now to go through no matter what side effects may come. Only two more Chem for me!
Love the kitty cat pic I have one that actually does that, little rascal! She wants whatever we're having.
Hugs to all and have a great Tuesday my hermits!

Blondie, still going to visit cousin at the shore?
-
Hi hermits- after a relatively easy re-entry to the client site, today was not an easy day. Ran into some people I was hoping to NOT see, but knew I would inevitably. Then a meeting on some work related to the bad project I came off of in June, and it was predictably bad too. Okay, maybe I got all the bad people stuff over with today? One thing for sure, the icky people don't stop being icky! The good news is I am gone from there tomorrow and will shift gears.
I am going to do an entrepreneurial consulting session with someone who is asking for my help after that panel I did last month. That is the best thing that happened today!
Teka- beautiful fall foliage. Makes me which I was back east right now.
Bippy- glad you are feeling better and that you will get through the rest this chemo stuff. We will be right here with you too!
Blondie- what is the Z pac for? You have an infection?
Hope everyone else had a decent Tuesday. Positive energy going to Lili tomorrow for her doctors visit. Positive outcomes!

Yes, Lily!

I think Fall officially started today! Temps have dropped down into the 60's, and the rains have returned to Oregon. I LOVE Fall. It just makes me want to hunker down, start having fires in the fireplace again, light candles and get all cozy. Glad I got lots of clean up work done out in the garden this past weekend. Harvesting the last of the summer crops. Time to get the beds ready for the long Winter.
Glad everyone's hanging in there.
-
Guess so jazzy, mo gave it to me, like good news
HUGS ALL AROUND
Yep going to the shore in 2 weeks, cant wait

Onc said as my liver ultrasound was fine no need to worry re enzymes ( although all were 200 above the top maximum number) ....i am still concerned as cancer i had was lobular so lurks........and doubt ut would be seen on an us scan as it comes in sheets or lines not a lump....but
Onc said what til next blood test ............what do you all think?
-
Hi Hermits.
Fall seems to finally be here too. The leaves on one area of Virginia creeper seemed to all fall off in last night's wind. That's not too unusual. The groups of Virginia creeper seem to drop leaves all of a sudden, and different groups at different times.
I am trying out a chicken soup recipe. Of course, I did not have a large yellow onion so a red one was used. Following recipes is not a strength, so I have made several other adjustments. I am not a natural cook, so I must learn to follow recipes. Even if the soup is terrible, the house smells good.
Jazzy, I am sorry to hear that some of the toxic folks from your old contract are in the vicinity of this new contract.
-
Lily- good news that there is nothing of concern on the liver ultrasound. I am assuming anything out the ordinary would show up on that scan, but not sure about things that show up in lines or the like? When is the next blood test, a month, 6 months, etc? Are you having any pain or other symptoms on the right side that would make you worry something is going on? It sounds to me like they took a look at the liver for any signs of anything, so I think the are taking it seriously.
I have not had a high reading yet on my liver enzymes so far, so not sure how to advise you? Maybe there are others here who have had that and can tell you what they did for follow up?
Sally- I think the thing that bothers me the most about yesterday is that I let them "get under my skin" when I just know they are nasty people. If they continue to be hostile, I will talk to my client about me focusing on the other two projects. I told her when I went in I won't let those people use me as their punching bag again and she gets it. I was glad to not have to be there today. Refocused and moving forward to things I need to do!
We have more fall here too as more trees turn yellow which is basically our color of fall in NM. In a few more weeks, the cottonwoods should be very pretty. Weather is nice, warm days and cool nights.
Having a good day today. Did some coaching this morning to a gal with a start up, went to personal training, now getting a few things done for my business and finances. I have class in a few hours too. Back to work tomorrow for my last day this week and until next thursday with my conference early next week.
Hope everyone is having a good hump day!
-
hi Jazzy, yes discomfort under ribs, thing with lobular is it is so hard to find.....and I passed ultrasound on my ex breast just a few weeks befire stage 3 diagnosis....
-
Lily ... thinking of you ... hoping discomfort inder ribs goes away
-
Lily- I think given you are having discomfort and have high enzymes that you may want to consider a second opinion. Not sure how that works in your country with the insurance, but might be worth talking to someone else if you are worried. I am all for second opinions and have done them repeatedly and had things caught by another set of eyes.
-
Yay lily good news
Hi sally n onco
Jazzy u want us to come n slap them around a bit. What is their problem with u. Jealous, idiots.. no worries, we got u r back
Bye bbl
-
Onco - The kitties in the photo are not mine. I do have a couple of cats, but they are 3 years old now. I used to have a black cat and a tabby that looked just like the kitties on the pumpkin though!
-
Oh I love the Kitty pics, as usual.
Teka that pic is beautiful, such a show for a fall day. And it's starting to come here but out leaves are falling like mad (windy)
Jazzy I'm glad u'r over yesterday and today was better for u--keep that up sweety.
Lily if my dr. said don't worry about something believe me I don't and don't look ahead ever. It's a waste of my emotions, try to rethink as bad as u have things the Drs. are watching u.
Monis and Mommy---I drank more coffee today than usual I was busy with work, but I'm really tired anyway. I'm trying to stay awake. LOL but going to sleep now.
Blondie I thought u were going this week, blah u still have to wait, well rest up for it.
-
Nope in 2 weeks

good day hermies,
Yesterday saw the old, marvelous movie, invasion of the bodysnatchers. There seem to be so many parallels to our situation! Yet another alien wanting to invade our bodies. Luckily this handsome devil along with a stunningly gorgeous woman put a stop to it. she was always decked out in beautiful dresses that have absolutely no place for the activities being done! With requisite pearls and heels, naturally. Hilarious! I love old movies, especially noir and sci fi. Nothin like them.
Also, i got lots done as I feel just fine, ebay posting, made macaroni salad, cleaned up alot. Selling lots of collectibles, due to money needed and just time to let go. So I guess you can truly say I am losin my marbles, cuz I am sellin them on Ebay! Along with other stuff.....
So blood draw today, then just chillin. Finally the temperature is below 90 here! Already i got the windows open, it is smashing out!
Have a great Thursday Hermies
-
Good morning hermits- went to my class last night and enjoyed it. This strategic planning class is helping me with my current contract too, so it has direct applicability. I will miss next week as I am going to my conference through Wed, but will have one more class after that and then have a new certificate credential for my resume.
Back to the client site and a lot to do today as I won't be there again for a week. Thanks to everyone for listening to me about my icky day on Tuesday. I plan to make today a good day and to keep the problem children at a distance.
Bippy- I love Invasion of the Bodysnatchers too. I am lightening my load through taking clothing to consignment, donating, did a yard sale, etc. All this stuff makes us realize we need simpler lives which often means less stuff. I have chronic TMS (too much stuff.....)
Blondie- I hope the z pac is doing it's thing and you are feeling better. You want to be better for that trip to the shore you are looking forward to!
Cami- you sound like a tired gal and hope you are getting more sleep.
Monis- those kitties are very cute!
Hope everyone else here is doing okay as the week winds down. Time to hop in the shower and head to an early meeting at the client site. Wishing you all a good Thursday!
-
Going to have a really good excuse to stay indoors today. We are supposed to have rain most of the day (yippee!!!!!!!!!!!) But we do need it. By the time it ends, it will total up to about a months worth!
-
*Good Morning Hermits*
Husband and I went for a long nature walk in the woods. Yes, was in bed early!
Rainy, only Fall indoor clean-up.
Lily,
When will MO do next blood work? Weeks? Months?
-
most likely one year! I think I need it before then....
