I am honestly so nervous. I mean, this is it ya know?? I realize people have revisions done, but I want to be done. Just done. I truly doubt that I will opt for any revision surgery should my outcome not look perfect, or nice enough. I'll probably just live with it...which is making me more nervous I think. Plus I hear about women who's bodies reject the implants and I think, "Oh my gosh...to go through all this TE stuff and then end up with no breasts???" So, tomorrow is THE day. I wish I'd been given access to the picture board just so I'd know what to expect. Kinda disappointed there. I don't have internet access often so I was not able to be super active on here, so it's understandable I guess. I was able to find some pics online though so that helped a bit, and Whippetmom was wonderful in answering my private messages. Anyhow, I think it's all going to be okay, but I just needed to voice my nervousness. My dr says I can go back to work in a week?? Yet I read others are still down after 4 weeks. And she says no drains, yet I see most have drains after exchange. Aaaaaaahhhhh!! Haha! Too many variables for me! lol Okay, losing internet again...thanks for letting me semi-vent. :))

Good luck in your exchange surgery LissaSue22!  I hope everything goes well with no problems and you do end up happy with how it all turns out.

I haven't had my exchange surgery yet, but I'm hopeful after todays appointment with my PS that it will be getting closer!   I am to meet with her today to talk about what permanent implants I want!  I understand about just wanting it done and no more surgeries.  I feel the same way, I don't think I will be willing to go through a revision surgery if I don't like the results.  I'm certain I will just live with it!

Thank you!! The surgery went very well. I feel soooooo good. If she hadn't of had to do some pocket work on my right side I would actually feel pretty normal. My left side just feels a tiny bit sore, like I did a few too many push ups, the right side a lot more sore but nothing even remotely close to the mastectomy. I'm up and about and feeling awesome.

As for my implants, my breasts are bound with bandages and a bra that I am not allowed to remove for 7 days, so I don't know how they look, but I can poke a finger in there and it feels so natural and squishy. :)) LOVE IT!! And that iron breast battering ram feeling is gone. My Dr said that my breasts look very nice, she was super happy with the results. They feel kinda small, I may have wished she'd gone a bit bigger, but I'm not picky and no matter what size they are they are bigger than my size A's I've had my whole life.

I had 450 cc in each TE and she sized me with various implant sizers in the operating room and choose Natrelle round silicone style 20, 500cc Which is actually what Whippermom recommended for me. I'm trusting that she (my dr) picked what looked best for my body and I'll be happy with that.

For the most part though, I am just so happy that I feel soooo good!!! No drains, very, very little pain. Woot!! :))

That is great news LissaSue22!  Glad to know the exchange seems to be an easier surgery.  My SIL said her exchange surgery 11 years ago was a breeze.  You are lucky in that you didn't get drains again.  My PS said today I will have drains again for at least 7 to 10 days.  She said she always puts drains in.  Ughhhh!  I hate the drains!

After meeting with my PS earlier today my exchange surgery is set for 12/11/14.  Just 8 more weeks and I can get these rocks out of my chest!  She is giving me until November 5th to decide if I want to do the Natrelle round silicone or do the Sientra anatomical highly cohesive.  I told her I was leaning toward the round implants simply because I want the feel of a more natural breast and the highly cohesive do not feel natural.  Although the Sientra brand is not nearly as firm feeling as the Natrelle 410 gummy bear.  I know I don't want the Natrelle 410, I felt them at the doctor's office and they are very extra firm feeling.

clmtootie I originally thought I'd want the anatomicals also. But right TE rotated all wonky in my chest and I got to thinking about the fact that I am just too active. I didn't want to worry about my implants rotating. Then I gave Whippetmom my measurements and my TE info and she said to definitely not go with the anatomicals, that because of the kind of TE I had that they would surely rotate. So when I told my dr that I changed my mind and decided to go with the smooth rounds she seemed very pleased with my decision. And honestly, from what I can see of my breasts when I peak, they look super natural and feel exactly like real breasts!! They are very soft, and squishy. I'm SO GLAD I did not go with the anatomicals. I wanted my breasts to be natural in that I can put them in a push up bra if I want cleavage, etc. where anatomicals, from what I understand, can't do that. If you have not talked to Whippetmom about your options, do!!! I just sent her a private message and she got right back to me. I didn't even tell my PS what whippetmoms recommendations were, but she chose the exact implants that she had recommended. She (Whippetmom) knows her stuff. :)
