Mary, I didn't know that the house selling was coming up so soon! Refresh my memory on your plans again.
Sounds like the voices are coming through loud & clear!

Just a quick check in; yesterday I walked, did 30 minutes of abs, yard work & ran around getting ready for a fish fry. This morning I did a little pilates. DH is quite the fisherman & we invite a bunch of friends over & host a fish dinner a couple times a summer. Today will be the last one of the season. He fries the fish, but I am in charge of everything else; so it is fun but quite a lot of work too. Signing off to make a salad & do a last run through of the house.

Just when I feel like I'm doing such a good job I see Mary and Lilac doing 7mi and 10K runs and Claire doing 25 mile bike rides. There's some tough competition here! As for me, I mowed the lawn and we also cleaned out the garage today. Yeah! because it really needed it but it may have been a mistake to do that much the day after I walked over an hour. My feet are killing me and I just want to go to bed.
Lyzzysmom that's making me nervous when you say your jaw feels tight. I think you should check it out. Better to find out now if something is wrong!
-
Lilacblue, great run even if not your best time. You should be proud regardless. Mary, one word....... WOW!!! I know how miserable the weather was and yet you ran seven miles in it... i am in awe.
Ruth, your fish fry sounds fun. Hope you had a good time.
Exercise for me today consisted of some circuit exercises plus laundry. Signed up to run a 5k in a few weeks and may do one at the end of November as well. Officially made my goal weight yesterday so now just need to maintain. Hoping the runs will help keep me straight.

Ladies, thanks for your concern. I see the trainer who is also the head fitness guy and a physical therapist tomorrow so will show him what happens on the treadmill. If there is no mechanical explanation I will definitely ask the doctor. When I have done a stress test before (as I get palpitations sometimes) they never run the machine fast enough for me to work up a sweat, no more that 4 mph so I can walk not jog. Then they tell me everything is ok!
Anyway I did the cross trainer machine today for a full hour and burnt 600 calories. I could not find the remote for the TV so I managed that even thought there was a political program going on in front of me and I prefer sports or something mindless to stare at when I am exercising!
It was a glorious afternoon so I did a 3 mile walk to the local lake and took my camera that I had bought a new lens for. I took pics so it was very leisurely but between that and the cross trainer I did 6 miles today .. and yes I did have a KitKat!
-
My fitbit hit 22,222 steps today. I ran a 5k race and then did an additional 1.5 miles before stretching. Then did a 4.5 mile walk on the airline trail with my neighbor. Hit 20,000 by 2pm. Felt great at the time but my legs are so tired now.
-
10/12- spent some time reorganizing the closets today which resulted in a lot of moving around and lifting, but still got a nice 25 min walk in today.
Tomorrow I am going in to meet my personal trainer at 7 a.m. for a work out before I got to work! A new routine I am doing on Mondays to get my full training sessions in each week.
-
Did 32 miles today including a fast section where I got behind the group checking out the golf course conversion to farmland and also where the beavers have moved in but no lodge. Great fun and NO RAIN.
Taxes were less fun, and I need one document prior to finishing. Glad I didn't wait until the absolute last minute.
Dinner soon, and a few texts with my guy. Life is wonderful. - Claire

Hauling down my winter clothes today.
-
Mary, excellent long run in less than stellar conditions.
Odie, good for you on reaching your weight goal and singing up for 5k now - also really good. Cheryl, no, I'll not be at the June SS meet-up, yet know all of you who are, will have a terrific time! Thanks for the kudos on the 10k yesterday and taking a day off today. I feel great, yet raining and windy all day so I''m catching up on chores and chilling at home , meaning, not going to step tonight.
-
12 mile one hour ride and 1 hour workout with my trainer. I even managed 40'sit ups, a first since last surgery.
-
ZUMBA!
-
Bootcamp tonight resulting in lots of liquid awesome. Feel human again after a hot shower
-
One hour of LiveStrong classes and lots of stretching.
-
AnnBR
-
10/13- hour of resistance training with my personal trainer before work today!
-
This morning did Sh'bam and tonight Body Combat, but boy was that hard as I was really feeling it from my Body Pump class yesterday when we were doing hooks my pec muscles were screaming, then my legs were on fire when the lunges came and I could barely do a push up at the end and now I am completely exhausted.
-
walking and hills today, and had a swim tonight!!!
-

27,000 steps on this hike. My record in one day since I started tracking a year ago.
-
I think the climbing is at least as impressive as the number of steps. Just glorious scenery. I need to get back out and do something, but anything notable will wait until the weekend.
I got in my 2 mile walk yesterday just seconds before the heavens opening. Long day again today, so will just do a walk plus weights and crunches. Back to work and a very early start to get everything done. - Claire
-

This one we covered by bike, no steps, but more climbing. My guy was having problems with his bike computer. Also lost my gloves along the way.
-
Great pictures Heldhill, where is that?
Walked the dog last night, ran with him this morning. Hoping to get some core work in tonight.
-
Beautiful HeidiHill!
Body balance this morning and off to yoga in a bit with my boy.
-
Gorgeous pictures, ladies.
Went to my class this morning. We have been having subs due to the fact that our teacher is off for some medical stuff....happy medical stuff actually....she has been trying to get pregnant through invitro; and it has worked, now she has to lie low for a couple weeks to make sure everything stays planted (my term). Anyway, the sub today was very good (college student from Cheryl's Australia, so of course she would be good!). We did cardio the whole time, so I am contemplating trying a class tonight called 'Muscle Max'. I will report back if I do.
-
3 mile walk and then tabata of planks, kettle bell press, and twisting kettle bell hammer curls. My trainer threw in a bunch of shoulder stretches to keep me flexible since I gained full ROM 10 days ago. Coming back from 3rd surgery in 7 months has been the most challenging.
-
Stretching, light weights and balancing at my livestrong class today at the YMCA. Always feel refreshed after it. On Friday this week I'll be traveling to Mexico to visit my parents so I will miss my class for two entire weeks. Be back on Nov. 4tth. I also won't have access to the internet so I will miss you guys. But I'll try to "hear" the voices from afar.

Great hiking/biking trails Heidihill.
Great job Cheryl.
Aurora, safe travels.
Today's exercise was 45 minutes of circuit training.
-
10/14- just did a short walk around my client site today for 20 minutes but the first time I have done this and going to do it every day while I can during the next few months I am there. Tomorrow I am doing a double work out as I am not on site for the client and also have personal training. More on that tomorrow.
Teacher64- my personal trainer is big time into the kettle balls. I am learning to like them too, they are one heck of a work out!
-
beautiful pics Heidihill!
Got in a 3 mile run this morning but then I sat in Professional Development meeting all day. Not much activity there.
-
It was so nice out that I had to go for a walk this afternoon. I TRIED to go to the 'Muscle Max' class at the YMCA this evening, but they had changed the time without updating the website (or their paper schedules, or the master schedule posted on the wall).....I arrived as they were doing the cool down. Came home & did a toning DVD. I would have been pretty mad if I lived on the other side of town, or out of town, & had driven in for that class. Things would be done a little differently if I were The Boss of the World!
