The orange background is my orange throw on my chair for Halloween..

Even though he is too young for me, and i already have a man, i was just thinking good looks run in your family, firekracker. your grandson is good looking too. photoshop is an app that you can manipulate photos with. because once my sister and i saw something in real life very similar to those hands Ducky posted, and we both looked at each other with big eyes.
i am sorry i don't go to the parties you guys have, but my evenings are busier than my days. but you know i think of you, right?
and B, i am so so sorry....
-
Kath.....no, it is for real......a guy was driving down a highway in Alabama and saw it, pulled over and took the picture............he sent it to a radio station I think Fox News 6....and they said it was seen and reported in many other places too............amazing huh............
The guy who took it saidi "it really does prove "he has the whole world in his hands".......
-
hey ducky how r u -
UGH just lost a post...
I didn't miss much here in a week - glad to catch up.
Jo, welcome back! Where did your cruise take you? I went on one cruise a few years ago and I wasn't thrilled but mainly because the people I went with were NOT fun. They ate 4 times a day (only free stuff) and drank a bottle of my wine with dinner (which I willingly shared) but never even offered to buy me a drink on another night. We had huge waves for 2 days and I was zipping around the ship while they all were sick. I went to Panama, and actually, I did have a good time - just not with my roommate or shipmates.Send pix, Jo!
geewhiz and SlowDB, thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers for my dear friend. Her biopsy is benign and we are celebrating. She has a huge fibroid and a few smaller cysts. She has very dense breasts and was having mammos - and no one ever told her they were always inconclusive. This year she had ultrasound which showed the B9 masses. Stupid doctors...why didn't anyone tell her she needs US each time?
FK, baby is adorable...and I already have said you have beautiful children.
And, goddesses, FK is a knockout in person! For all her outspoken-ness, she is a loyal, honest, and big-hearted lady. We are all in good company.GmaF, OK, who is it? FK and I will get on the broom and snuff those buggers out. You have always been a kind soul on here who brightens my world with your photos/art.
Toss toss toss....
Would love to move closer to the fire with some hot chocolate...maybe a shot of Baileys....
Gosh, I just was thinking of Linda and how it isn't the same without her....I hate BC and all Ca.Love you all,
Joan
-
Joan appears, you never know when she will....I agree with you, Fire is beautiful and all the other things you said. I wish we all lived closer where we could hang and walk, well you know what I mean.HRU, how is work, HUGS for your friend...this disease just sucks...
It is going to be cold tonight they said it is 52 now, and I have a football game tomorrow (Andrews) and I have to go he has 3 left and I am not going to the away games and the next 2 are away, so I might have to break down and go next week it is at noon so hopefully won't b that cold, yea right.., anyway. they are talking about 40's.
Michael is at work and George is downstairs and I am just hanging,
Have a good Sunday all.....

Joan, Awesome news about your friend!! Please allow me to
join you with some hot chocolate, and Baileys in celebration by the fire.
Excellent choice of drinks!! That was my drink of choice when camping at the
beach.I agree – it’s not the same without Linda. I so enjoyed her
posts – always living life to the fullest. She was definitely an inspiration.
She talked about painting, and I hope she was able to do that during her time at
home. I went back and read many of her posts and came across one of her
paintings. I use it as a background on my laptop. It reminds me to live each
day to the fullest with “lovingkindness” – something she was so good at doing.
I hate what BC takes from us all.GMA IS a kind soul and I’ve never heard her say a
bad word about anyone. Her mountain always brightens my day.Blondie, Brrrrrrr….sounds cold!! Please bundle up for those
games! Hope you’re able to get some sleep tonight.Hope you're all having a good weekend!!
-
Shall I throw another log on the fire? Its pretty cold here this morning! Had to put on my winter coat to take the dog out this morning for the morning ritual!
-
It's another sister. I just don't understand. Guess you just can't please everyone.
I need lots of prayers tomorrow. I am going for a consult to a PS. I think if i make my topside smaller and lessen movement, i can get the nerve pain in control. My acupuncturist can get the nerve pain to stop only to come back when i am active. Pray he will do this for me.
-
GMA I will be in your pocket tomorrow and praying the doctor will be able to do what you need to help with your nerve pain...
-
I hope he does too, Gma...
-
Gotta go have a cervical cancer screening tommorrow, my first! Thank goodness I have a female doc for this!
-
Finally, a cruise photo. We were in Nassau, Bahamas. There were 4 Carnival ships in port that day and ours was the biggest.
This was the first Formal Night. I can clean up pretty well don't you think???
GMA - Will be in your pocket tomorrow. Move over everyone and make room for meeeeee!!!!
Mommyof2 - Will be thinking about you as well.
Joan - We went to Key West and the Bahamas. Had not been to the Bahamas so this was a new adventure for us. Had a great time in the ports but was not pleased with the food and had some other issues with Carnival. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival and we have decided we are not cruising again. As for your friends, how rude to drink all your wine and not offer to buy you a drink later. It was the least they could do.
-
Jo, awesome pix, no more crises, if i had money that is what i would do after of course another dw trip n a first disneyland trip
Happy Sunday
-
Thanks Blondie. Unfortunately for us, this was our last cruise. I want to go explore in our camper which is fine with me.
-
I'm also in your pocket tomorrow GMA. I really hope this is the answer to the pain you've endured.
Good luck to you too tomorrow M0mmy.
Jo, love the pictures. You look so pretty. I love the outfit! How was the food? I hear it's wonderful on a cruise. I've got an Alaskan cruise on my bucket list.
I really miss camping. We sold our motorhome when I was diagnosed. We just couldn't afford the upkeep when we weren't even using it. We've been thinking about a tent trailer once we get back on our feet.
-
Mommy I am sending good thoughts your way. Had my first internal ovarian US this year. Not fun.
-

Hope it's going well for you today GMA.
It's always so wonderful when you all post pictures of your family. They all look so pretty and nice. My DD had to fly to N.Cal today to get her braces off. I asked her if she would send me a NICE picture to share on these boards. This is what she sent. Nice, huh? She NEVER listens.
-
she looks so cute
I could picture my kids doin that
-
She looks so pretty even making that face! She is definetly showing where all of the money went and the results of the monthly trips to the orthodontist.
-
Thanks. She is as goofy as they come.
-
Slow - Nice picture. She is goofy and I'm sure loads of fun.
