I am due to have my surgery on Friday.  When I visited my plastic surgeon about about a month ago he told me that he will not do the surgery if I can't stop smoking because the complication rate will be 100%.  So I was going to try to quit using the patch but he informed me that I cannot have any nicotine in my body at all.  So I got Welbutrin from my doctor and have been using a e-cig with no nicotine.  I've been doing good then I get to the end of the day and I want a smoke.  I will have a couple of puffs a day, not a whole cigarette.  I'm not even having puffs now that my surgery is in a week. Has anyone who smokes had complications?  Also do you think because I went from smoking a pack a day to having a few puffs a day and then not having any for the next week it will be okay?  Thanks
