Bippy so sorry to hear that your not feeling so well.
Well as soon as I get off here, its time to tackle the laundry!
-
Good morning hermits- had a nice dinner with my friends last night. The woman I used to work who was part of the dinner hosting couple had lost her son to cancer earlier this year. She said it was a very tough time this weekend, and glad she is allowing people to be around her. I brought her a really cute pumpkin planter with an orange gerber daisy, and she just loved it. We had a great meal and talked about all kinds of interesting things. Next time I am going to have them over for dinner (in the new year) as they all want to see my renovations. I like having dinner parties, something I have not done in awhile either.
Blondie- sorry you were not feeling well enough to get the tats. You can go when you feel better. The trip to the shore sounds good, everyone needs a change of scenery from time to time. Here's to our friend mary jane too.....
Bippy- I am sorry you are feeling depressed. But I am also glad you gave yourself permission to just be present with those feelings. There is sometimes a lot of pressure from others to "stay positive" during treatment, or sometimes we expected it of ourselves. Glad you are feeling better emotionally now too. You are in the home stretch for your chemo treatments, we will keep track with you as you reach the finish line.
Mommy- good luck with the laundry. I have some to do myself today too.
Lili- how are you doing today? Is your apt tomorrow? Fingers crossed for good results. Please let us know?
Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday. Hugs to those here struggling through on this weekend.

*Good Morning Hermits*
Lovely sunny day in the North Country!
Mo,
Bippy, just be yourself on this thread. *Hugs*
Blondie, you deserve a good time with cousin at the shore.
Jazzy, I'll try to get a photo of the sedum in the sunshine.
Cami, we're always passing in cyberspace.
Lily, yes, maybe medication.
-
Teka- lol on the bottom kitty! Would love to see the seedum. It rained her a lot the past few days so my gardens are happy.
-
One last balloon pic. The glow last night with the lightening off in the distance with the approaching storm.
-
I didn't know that hot air balloons go up at night. Lovely!
I also love smokey gray short hair cats. Don't tell Teka!
-
Teka- they don't go up at night, they just fire them up and tether them and they call it a balloon glow. There was a glow for a bit last night before the rains came.
I won't tell Teka about you cheating on her. I know cats get very jealous!
-
Bippy ... I am thinking of you and hoping the Neulasta additional se's pass quickly along with the ones you have now.
Hi Blondie, Mommy, Jazzy, Teka, and all others checking in or by reading.
I am going to force myself to take my walk ... I always get energy from walking ... I often have to force myself out the door.
-
Sally- there is a thread called Let's Post Our Daily Exercise. I joined it recently and feels good to share the exercise activities with others. Several on other threads are there that I know, one person on this thread too besides me. Come on over if you like!
-
sorry we all have so many challenges, i hate hearing how many good women are having a crap time..........i am sore under my ribs on both sides but slept well last night as iwas away from home. Appt is not til midweek, I know in myself it is not good news, but bloods were all fine just five months ago........not sure if that is good or bad news........i am still traumatised from last time and lack of recon i know i cannot handle anything more, i will just bow out gracefully...........
-
Laundry is done and so now until dinner time I am relaxing and watching the Patriots-Bills. Really wish that the Packers and Minnesota were on though!
-
Jazzy, thanks for the thread recommendation.
Lily, thinking of you ... hope your appointment goes well and you get clear answers ... clear, good answers.

Hey Hermies. Our friends were too tired to make it all the way Friday night so they stopped at a motel and came in around 9 yesterday morning, then had to leave this morning 8 hours each way for a 24 hour visit. But it was a wonderful 24 hours. We didn't go anywhere, just sat around talking and eating. DH grilled a ribeye roast and cousin made twice baked potatoes and fresh asparagus, and baked a cake for dessert. We watched DH's favorite bad scifi spoof, which my friend's DH thoroughly enjoyed. But most of the time my friend sat next to me on the couch with her arm around me. And she brought me a wonderful present from her and another friend we play with, a soft fluffy blankie with moos on one side and hearts on the other. OncoWarrior will appreciate this; they are all about the moos. I'll get a picture of it for you, you'll love it, Rosie has been sleeping on it, but after our friends left this morning I curled up on the couch with it and slept 4 hours. My cousin made waffles from scratch for breakfast before our friends left, she has been so sweet about making sure everything was perfect for the visit, even putting their favorite chocolates on their pillows. And my friend brought her nebulizer with new attachments which she left with me, and the breathing treatments helped a lot. Altogether a wonderful weekend.

Hi folks- in the closets today. Time to put away summer things and pull out more fall things as the weather cools. More things to take to consignment and donate too. Purge baby purge.
Mommy- I am envious your laundry is done! I have more to do there, but may put that on hold until wed when I am back home again after working the next few days. I am going to push to get the closet stuff today done while I am on a roll.....
Lili- I am someone who likes to go on line at things all the time around data and diagnoses. I think information is power, and it helps to have some questions lined up for every visit with our doctors. I know you are expecting bad news, which I pray this is not, but do you have a few questions written down to ask your doctor about? Is there anyone who can go with you to your apt?
Mags- your visit sounded like a very sweet time with your friends. They must love you very much to do all that driving for the one day visit with you. I love the chocolates on the bed too. Little things matter. Sounds like you are resting now and hope you are feeling better from the pneumonia and everything else.
Onco- never have been in a hot air balloon and no desire to. If you crew with a balloon team, you can usually get a ride for free, but otherwise, it is very expensive ($300 an hour per person is typical). I like to watch them from terra firma.

Hi Hermies,
mood a tad better today, thanks everyone for the support. I think I would walk right into traffic if not for this oasis. An oasis of venting!
Jazzy, i need to get into the closets too, waiting to feel up to it and for cooler weather. Cabin fever hittin me hard, but doing all I can to get out. I made soup yesterday and plan to whip up shepherds pie today.
Lily, thinkin of you and wishing the best.
I have given up planning my new boobs for now, will just wait till chemo is nearly done and then meet with PS. I am not at all sure what to do, a flap or implants. TE's sound like pure hell. I have plenty of fat for flap though!
Meanwhile, out in California, some a-holes haven taken to deessing up as scary clowns and following people around town after dark....that is JUST NOT RIGHT. The pics are freaky. If I can figure how to post the link, I will. Nothing scarier than a clown at midnight!
