Hi all want to just drop a few lines, about my reconstruction dilema, I was diagnosed at 42 yrs old while planning my wedding to my second, and now husband,I found the lump myself and had been working in the O.R and then peds clincic when diagnosed. So when I felt it I knew it was breast cancer, so to make my story short, I had 3 months of chemo to shrink, then L mast, with reconstruction, then 3 months of chemo after, But my ches started to hurt, pain unbearable, went to E R, and admitted, the implant had hardened, body rejected it, and was removed, since then wear prothesis.I,m doing just fine 20 yrs later(Praise GOD). I had lots of support from family and friends, and of course my Faith kept me going thru,HOPE, and it may sound so repetitous, But POSITIVE thinking, I had my cry then I fought my way thru this thing. God Bless. msphil(idc, stage 2,0/3 nodes, L mast, chemo, got married, then rads for 7wks, 5 days a wk, and 5 yrs on tamoxifen)
