Kelly, there is a newer Faslodex thread where you'll get more response: it's entitled "Faslodex Girls Thread 2014."

Welcome to the BCO Community Kelly327. We're sorry
you have to be here, but so glad that you've found some comfort in knowing you
    are certainly not alone.

Try the Faslodex Girls Thread 2014

There is also lots of info on our main site (but nothing specific on Faslodex and retinas, which indicates it is not a SE) but look  at Faslodex

    Hi all :)

New to faslodex group but have been on meds for over a year. I hate, hate, the pain. I feel I've hit my limit. I'm ready to say I'm done with the meds. Reminds me of taxol pain I had 12 years ago my first go around.

They've done MRI seeing stranding and necrosis, area of swelling (constant) against my lower spine. Of course, they're not sure what to do, quick fix is always pain meds but not needing those side effects. Sad that Dr's seem to only prescribe meds without research on side effects, they're always surprised and say they never heard of this. Uh, Google! Listen to the patients please!

I waited 6 weeks before this last shot, was physically capable of doing a mud run with my husband, felt great. Since day of shot (2 days following run) I'm a mess. Feel like bawling and I have a high tolerance to pain.

    Grrr!

    Hi Girls-

I recently had a reoccurrence with 4 new spots in my bones. Dr. switched me to flasodez and had my first shot yesterday. Immediately have pain in the injection site and can barely walk or sit. How long are you seeing this last for? Any other side effects I should be prepared for?

This is the only change the dr. want's to make (no chemo or radiation). Has anyone else had a reoccurrence and just changed their hormone medicine?

    Thanks!

    Heathermc5,

Welcome to the Fanny Pack! However, this is an old thread. Re-post your inquiry on the Faslodex Girls Thread 2014, where you'll find lots of support. Be sure to read the invaluable tips in the header of the thread.
