Putting up my Halloween decorations today!
-
Good Morning Goddesses,
GMA, So sorry for your troubles. I can’t imagine anyone
thinking you’re a horrible person. Whatever it is, I hope it gets better for
you soon.Kracker, I’m very excited you’re finally going to meet Veggy’s
family. I bet it’s going be a great meeting!!M0mmy, I will probably put my decorations up today too. It’s
a bit difficult to get in the Halloween spirit when it’s over 100 degrees here
today.Blondie/Poppy, Today my DH and I are finishing up cleaning
our garage. Tomorrow my sister is coming over for dinner. I’ve designated
Sunday as our day of rest, so me, my DH, Sister and DS will stay inside from
the heat, watch the football game, and eat homemade Italian food. Exactly what
my hips need!!Poppy, my DS played trumpet in HS band. He was also
assistant Drum Major for three years, and DM in his senior year. I really miss
those days of traveling from school to school. Those were the best times –
enjoy them!! I hope you and your DH have a wonderful date. You deserve to do
something fun after the week you’ve had!!!geewhiz, Daughters are so great, aren’t they? My daughter
and I used to watch Gilmore Girls together every week when she lived at home.
It was “our” show. I miss those times too!!Kathe, hope you got all your cleaning done!! I’m going to nail
you down for that birthday lunch pretty soon - so be ready!!Ducky, I miss seeing you around here. Hope you come back
soon!! It's just not the same without you.To anyone else that hasn’t been around, hope you’re having a
great weekend so far. I bet Jo is having the time of her life on her trip.Love to all!!
-
Legally Blonde was very well done... a cute, light musical. Geewhiz, you and your daughter should try to find a performance near you.
I wish I was putting up Halloween decorations. I have to wait for DH to get them down from the garage storage... and today he is doing college prep stuff with our oldest son. Not to mention the 104 degree heat.
FK, hope you have a wonderful time today. I know it will be bittersweet.
GmaFoley, toss it in the fire! You are not a horrible person. I don't know what is going on.... but sometimes others push everything back to us, making the problem someone else, when they don't want to take responsibility for themselves... or when they are making bad decisions. Stay strong lady!
Slow, you just reminded me that you and Kathe are SoCal ladies! What is up with this heat???
-
man, i don't know! i can barely move, all we have are fans! it never mattered before, but i think i am going to have to break down and get an air conditioner before next summer. i have lost many days holding as still as possible, or going somewhere like the mall, where i cant get anything done! well the beach when i can!
firekraker love those kids up, i know how much it means to you and will mean to them too.
Gma, those people must be nuts.
-
Can I throw the idiot that cut me and hubby off while we were getting ready to turn into the driveway today.
-
throw anything u want
There is always someone there
I'm very excited about tomorrow...gotta be ready by aroun 8:00 in the morning...I'm not at my best at that time but it's gonna be worth it
I'll start preparing my clothes tonite, shower and be able to run
I'll keep u posted
BTW the streak in my hair this month is ORANGE
For Halloween....I'm havin fun playin with these colors that Veggys friend Sharon bought for me

GMA don't know how anyhow could think you are a horrible person.. You have always been kind to me and always have a good word to say to people and some funny jokes and beautiful pictures..
Firecracker that is great news. Finally getting to meet Veggy's family.. Can't wait to hear about it.
Now I would like to throw my nerve pain into the fire. I am slowly going off from my Gabapentin pills and have also started acupuncture. Hoping the acupuncture will eventually do the trick for me. I think the rainy cool weather is not helping matters either... I just want to be done with the nerve pain... Is that to much to ask...
-
I think all pain should go into the fire!!
Poppy, the heat is insane. I was supervising the garage cleaning and I'm already drenched in sweat. We have air, but I typically only run it on the weekends. My bill from last month was $265. so I've been trying to cut back on weekends too.
Orange streak sounds cool. I've got to try that sometime.
-
Thanks Fire. I really needed to vent because if the idiot had hit us it would have been on my side of the car!
-
Fire how was your visit.wait I have a list of things to throw in, can we throw in people too???
-
yeah we can blondie, I've thrown a few people on the bonfire already!
-
Ok coOL want to throw the person my daughter married in there. People (my kids) keep yelling at me they will go soon
Not the twins (today)
My dd2 the d from the above person is pregnant n i know i have no control, it just makes me so sad that shw i guess feels the need to give him what he want n thinks he deserves a boy. He is abusive physically n mentally n emotionally, verbally, she knows i know, cant save her from herself. I am afraid 4 the kids. I really cant talk to her saw her today, she needed to give the kids a bath n her get a shower. I really dont want 2 b around her. It sounds so mean, but i cant. Everyday i say, hope it is a girl, hope it is a girl over n over again, boy i am a bitch.thanks 4 listening. I will b fine, lol
-
Throwing my idiot BIL and his girfriend on the bonfire for their being stupid enough to plan a 50th birthday party for BIL during the week, knowing that hubby has to work! Not that I would go even if it was on the weekend!
-
wow I smell the smoke from my apt
Keep it goin
-
Blondie, I am so sorry! You can't save someone from who doesn't want help. I feel for those poor kids. I'm sure when she comes to her senses, you will be there for her and the kids.
I want to throw on the fire the idiots who stole my identity... my credit card and my drivers license were stolen from my mail box....as if I don't have enough between BC and chemo....maybe I should throw my medical expenses on that card....
-
Oh no Poppy! Did you order original recipe or extra cripsy idiot? lol
-
Hi Goddesses - THE QUEEN IS BACK!!!!!!! We had a great time but I am so very tired. I skimmed through the pages I was behind on. So much to catch up on - no internet for 9 days should be against the rules but I am way too cheap to pay the outrageous prices for internet on a cruise ship.
FK - How in the hell are you????
Sending hugs to all of those that need it.
Will be back later.
-
welcome back JOJO..
it's not the same without u
I'm doin much betta....
Ducky taught me how to post pics.from my camera,of course I had them developed first.
I went to see Veggys hubby and one son.The older one was workin.
Check out the pics.

FK - So glad to be back. I missed everyone. More tomorrow. For now, it is bedtime.
-
Good Morning Goddesses!
I’ve been a bit under the weather the past few days. Think I
may have gotten a hold of some nasty fast food over the weekend, and oh boy was
I ill! Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader
and I became well acquainted.Welcome home JO!!! How was your trip? Did you take lots of
pictures???? I hope you post some here…. I love living vicariously through
someone else’s trip! Is else's a word??? Doesn't look right.Blondie, I can see that fire burning from way over here.
Quit a blaze you got going!! “You can’t save someone from who doesn’t want
help.”……So true Poppy!!Poppy, that’s awful that someone stole your identity. It’s
becoming more common lately. My DH had to close out one of his credit cards.
Our bank called and someone was trying to charge something at Sears in Puerto
Rico. The bank caught it right away and sent us an email. I hope you get it
sorted out quickly. Not something you should have to deal with right now.Kracker, I saw the picture on the STFU thread of Veggy’s boy
and DH. I’m so happy you finally got to meet them. What great pictures – it must
have been an awesome day!! You looked lovely!!M0mmy, who plans a party during the week??? Maybe they didn’t
really want anyone to come and just wanted gifts. lolHope everyone is doing well today. Off to read a few more
posts and catch up on my housework…uggggg!!Love to all!!
-
