Small and rippling in my Permanent Implants

I'm only two weeks out from bi-lateral mx, where PS used Allergan, 'gummy bear shaped,' mod height, 420CC implants w/ alloderm. The left is very firm but smooth, but the right has a lot of rippling in the upper pole.  Does this go away after healing and settling?  Or once there's rippling, that pretty much stays?  Also they feel so much smaller than the expanders.  I knew they'd feel smaller, but this much?!  Does that also shift with time??  Thanks.  I know it's early, I'm just trying not to freak and hoping this all gets better with time. :)

I don't have anything helpful to add, but I have the same questions!  I responded to you on the "exchange city" thread, but I was planning to start a new thread about rippling.

I'm 4 weeks post-exchange today, and I had ripples starting right away. I asked my PS about them, and he said they may just go away on their own. So far they haven't changed a bit, and I'm starting to see new ones form toward the top. I've been told over and over that I have to be patient, that I won't be able to tell the final results for months. But it's so hard to be patient, isn't it?!

I asked my PS if fat grafting would resolve the rippling problem if they don't go away on their own, and he said yes. So my latest plan (fantasy?) is to get fat grafting as soon as possible--and use so much of it that I gain some significant size too. That may not be realistic, but I like having hope!  : )

Have you consulted with "whippetmom" on the "breast implant sizing 101" thread?  She can tell you if the implants you have are a good match for your body size and type.

Elizabethaw- you and I could be the same person! Everything you said is exactly how I feel. I also am fantasizing about fat grafting already. But then I hear from another bc friend that that can also increase the feelings of "lumps" in the skin, which could lead to future worries about reoccurrence. Sigh....

I know it won't feel perfect or like we did before, but the rippling on top is particularly annoying bc it jus looks like u had a bad boob job. I don't feel like explaining to everyone- no it wasn't an augmentation! I had BC! I haven't looked at breast implant sizing. I should have before. I will now. Thx!

Anyone out there with rippling experience?  Is fat grafting the solution?
