Hi Girls

Well surgery is completed...was a long day on Thursday ..but made it through with a little help from ..heavy drugs !!!

Went back on Friday to have drains removed too much fluid still so sent home to enjoy the weekend ..

Sleeping..not well on back propped same as my double mx days any tips ?..but think I got this.

My husband graciously gave up his side of the bed so (he) I could rest ...

My daughter love her so much is heading back to university but commuting from home this year has been my right arm...making me chicken soup on Fri, washing my hair  and driving me into my appts.

I just don't want to over due it but don't want to be a pain to everyone..when is it time to go find the big girl panties ?The answer is of course everyone is different .When I bend down and move the wrong way ahhhh..I am a bit of a baby but pain is pain...The PS office said I could drive in today but my daughter offered so going with her at 2 hopefully the drains will be gone so I can shower feeling gross...!

I also reopened my Caringbridge site for my friends..so I am not repeating my progress I am photo journaling my transformation as well ..

That's it for now will let you know how the apt goes today

    Cheryl,

    I'm sorry but must have missed your earlier posts. What type of recon did you have? 

    Are you happy with the results? I'm waiting for mine surgery but seem to be pushing the date forward, because I'm just scared and also afraid how is this going to impact my work; (my news boss..., I don't think she likes me too much, so taking time off may only worsen our relationship;)

    Hey Maggs- not to scare you but things are not going as well as I willed it to !..my journey not yours. I was originally going to have DIEP ...but new doc ,I did not go looking for one to GIVE me implants he suggested.

    I have had enough surgery on this body and it was going to be 10 hrs with DIEP..so I jumped at the chance however the left is giving me trouble ...if this fails I am done ..I will happily live my life FLAT !!
