radioactive iodine?

Twelve years ago I had radioactive iodine therapy to treat Graves disease. Now I have triple negative breast cancer. I read an article on this site that there is a definite link. Anyone else have that connection?

    I had radioactive iodine treatment for thyroid cancer (now officially cured) about 15 years ago.

    My oncologist kinda dismissed it, but it makes sense to me.

    I had radioactive iodine 60 years ago for Graves' disease  we lived in New Orleans and I was treated at Tulane hospital.  It was extremely experimental back then an supposedly my case was written up in medical journals  .  I did quite well, but diagnosed at 52 with bc . I for one, have always thought there was a connection, as I am the first of my family to have any kids nd of cancer.  Interesting to hear that there are others .  Wilsie
