swelling of hands and feet, does this mean mets?

I finished all treatments about 4 years ago, recently my hands and feet/ankles have been swollen, my hands are tingly and numb, i was on aromasin for about 4 months (estimate) i called doc with the issue of my hand and told me to stopped the aromasin , stopped now for about 1 week, still have symptoms, so its not the pill.  I didn't realize my hands or feet were swollen until I went bowling last week and I couldn't put my thumb in the hole,  then it dawned on me, that I am swollen. so i called the doc back to let him know, and now I see him tomorrow.  I have such a bad feeling about this.   should i be worried?

    give it a bit more time.  I was on a 30 day Aromasin break.  I had swelling in my elbows which led to nerve compression affecting my thumb and two fingers.  After a month the swelling and symptoms are gone.  I just started Femara.  I hope for better luck, but the side effects may be the same.

    Pegs, when my feet/ankles and face were puffy, I tried to cut back on sodium.  Salt wasn't my issue.  My dead thyroid was my issue.

    If you haven't been checked for thyroid function lately, give it some thought and call your doctor.  Checking it is easy.  Once I started synthroid, my face and feet/ankles returned to normal.

    I haven't heard of everything, of course, but I've never heard of breast cancer mets that caused generalized fluid retention.

    no you need to be off the Aromasin for a month to feel full effects of being off it, It could be fluid retention due to imbalances, blood pressure, a whole range of things unconnected with cancer, but you shoukd go back to your doctor for blood tests to see what these might be.

    ok so I saw onc. doc and he was not concerned with the swelling, thinks  I have carpal tunnel, sending me for neuro eval.  I've been off aromasin since sept. 8 and I actually don't feel any better, my knees hurt, my hand is killing me.  feel tired.  feel swollen , just so tired of feeling like crap.  just wanted to vent.
