wearing sleeve & glove (fit)at wrist and swelling?
Feeling so much better after hospitalization for celluitis. Everything is going back to normal, including my BP which had spiked 20 or 30 points everyday. so relieved now. Have been wearing my sleeve and glove for 3 days now. Yesterday I noticed when taking it off that the area between the wrist and hand doesn't seem right, and even caused slight swelling in hand. after sitting with hand raised it subsided. It seems that area is difficult because sleeve is not attached to the glove. I guess thats why wrapping is better. But as of yet still no LE specialist to guide me. When i go out shopping I put a surgical glove(with fingers tips cut off, for air) over the juzo to keep it clean and germ free. Anyone experience this with sleeve & glove? Since my arm has no swelling at all, i wonder if I even need to wear it. Will be calling my doctor today, hopefully he has found someone for me.

I have found that while most suggest the glove goes OVER the sleeve but for me glove under the sleeve (with my LE guy's approval) works MUCH better. It does take a couple of extra seconds to put under but very quick and easy. When the glove is put over the sleeve, the edge of the sleeve is compressed into wrist creating a bit of a 'dam' impedeing flow while with the glove under sleeve that dam is not there.
I do know that most do not do this but it works for me.
The wrong level of compression can also cause swelling.

I am trying this today. Seems logical and is more comfortable. Do not have LE specialist at this point to consult , so will see. thank you Kicks, however the result. I will keep you informed.

I had the problem of hand swelling when I wore separate glove and sleeve. We tried several different custom garments, different compressions and combinations. Never found one that would keep the hand from swelling. Finally had to go to a one piece. It is more difficult to put on and they said they usually don't recommend it for most people. It is the only thing that worked for me. My swelling is minimal now and (I hate to admit), I haven't been wearing anything.

I have a one piece garment as well. What helped my hand the most is kinesio tape. I still wear kinesio tape under my one piece glove. Without the tape my hand (dorsum) still puffs up. I have a device called Doff n'Donner that makes it easier to don the one piece glove. Check it out at doffanddonner.com .
