    SlowDeepBreaths,  that is good to know about Plaquenil.  I did get my eyes checked before starting.  It seems odd to take med meant to treat malaria.  I guess no one really knows how exactly it works on RA patients.  

    You have had your share of health issues, you have such a great attitude.  It is great that you made it through surgery and chemo without complications.  

    About my diet, today I attended a conference, the schedule was very tight so I had to eat the lunch provided, because I was starving.  I ate all the wrong things.  I guess there will be days like that.

    islandmom, I do think diet makes a huge difference. I've always been pretty good about my weight - until treatment of BC. I gained 40 pounds and I do notice a huge difference on my joints.
