I was just recommend to see a breast surgeon
per finding large mass tissue in my right breast
well heres my story I notice my right breast had this weird robbery lump and it stared to discharge blackish liquid.
didn't really do anything till it started to have blood liquid come out from the nipple so my doctor sent me to have an ultrasound and mama gram some the nurse called and said we found a mass tissue and i need to set up an appointment with their breast surgeon?????? she couldn't say anything else, so what do I have do have to wait till I meet with the breast surgeon, must not be that bad she would have said something right???? I'm still scared I'm only 28yrs old

drewdrew, take it easy. Just wait and see what they say. You are young, and take it one day at a time. When do you meet with the breast surgeon?
-
@ moderators on Monday they are suppose to call me to set up a date but ya you're right one day at a time I just hate waiting
-
Drew, I am so sorry, n yes u r young, hang in there n come back, we have all been where u r

Hi Drew,I hope you hear from the surgeon's office today about an appointment time. It's so hard not to worry. We can all understand your fears and concerns. Keeping my fingers crossed that the appointment is sooner rather than later.
Let us know how things are going.
hugs,
Bren

Drew a referral to a breast surgeon does not mean you have cancer.........it means you have something suspicious and they need to know what it is. There are many other possibilities, but your symptoms indicate whatever it is needs investigating.........its the hardest thing in the world to do but all you can do is take it one day at a time and don´t borrow trouble......if you don´t hear today then can you phone up and say you are bleeding from your nipple again and wondering what´s going o with the appointment as you can´t sleep? Tell them you will take last minute cancellations........that should get you noticed...but I think you will hear today (I am in Europe so ahead of you time zone wise)
Good luck, waiting just stinks

Drew ~ how did your consult with the breast surgeon go? -
(((Drew))) - If/when you get a chance, and are able, there is a new male member posting on another forum who is in the same boat you are. I'm sure the two of you would have a lot to cyber-talk about your experiences (he's waiting on his appt. with the surgeon). And of course we're all anxious to hear how it went for you. -
drew,
How did it go for you? My fiancé is having the SAME symptoms in both nipples. Doc appointment monday, we're terrified.

Welcome to the BCO Community jodiemarie. We're sorry you have to be here, but so glad that you'll found some comfort in knowing your fiance is certainly not alone.
We understand that waiting for appointments and test results can be agonizing. You may want to read our main site page on Symptoms of Male Breast Cancer . Also there is one on Anxiety. It contains some helpful tips on ways you can manage anxiety.
Please
do keep us posted. Wishing all the best for your fiance,The Mods

Waiting can be agonizing. The doctors will not tell you what they suspect until they confirm it with imaging followed by a biopsy. After they have concrete evidence, they will then give you their diagnosis.
I hope that your diagnosis is not cancer. Best of luck.
