So confused :(

I had a biopsy for microcalcificatons.  They said I had DCIS 6mm which was grade 3 triple negative.   Then had MRI which was negative.  Then when I had the lumpectomy it stated that there was no DCIS and that it was all taken out at the biopsy. Margins are not a concern now.  Everyone is saying that I have the best outcome that I could hope for.  However, I am so scared because I was just tested for the BRCA genes and don't find out the results for 2 weeks. They already postponed radiation till the results come in.  They are saying I might change my mind and have surgery for a MX instead of radiation. So hard to think that everyone is telling me what a great outcome even though it's cancer but I am not feeling that way right now.   Did anyone else have small DCIS and because of BRCA elect to have a MX?
