First of all, sending you HUGS and so sorry you have to join this club. When I was first diagnosed, the nurse navigator went over the results with me over the phone. Your doctor's office should always be your first resource, but it helps to hear from other women on this site.

Like you, I was also ER/PR positive. That type of tumor typically responds well to hormonal therapy. You are highly ER/PR positive so that's the good news. But you are a Grade 3 which means your doctor may choose chemo for more aggressive treatment.

You should ask about having the OncotypeDX test. It will give you more information in order for you and your doctor to make a decision on treatment.  Checkout this site for more information:

    Good luck to you!

    Hi CobIndie,

In addition to the helpful responses you've already received here, you may be interested in checking out the main Breastcancer.org site's Your Diagnosis section, which will walk you through each piece of your pathology report.

Also, the FISH Test page may help!

Big hugs! We hope this helps!

I also had to have the FISH test done because HER 2 was equivocal.  Once it was done it just showed that I was HER 2 negative.  The beginning of this process is the hardest because there is so much unknown.  Try to take a deep breath and take it one step at a time.  So very sorry you have joined us but know we are here for you!!!  Hugs!

Cobindie, I can't add anything to the above but just want to extend my support as you grapple with this. I just received my path. report last Friday (and it wasn't as complete as yours - there will an addendum) so I understand a bit of what you're going through. None of us wants to be here and I'm sorry you are. I hope the information, compassion and support you find here will help you get through this very difficult time.
