Fight with husband.... normal?

I was diagnosed on Friday. Last night my husband and I got into a huge fight. I think hes scared, but doesn't know how to admit that. Its left me feeling even worse about things. I'm assuming this is normal?

    right now you are questioning everything and I totally understand where you are at. I'd say it's not unusual, everyone is scared and stressed and emotions are running high.

    You didn't say alot about what the fight was over or even what place ya'll were in prior to dx. Try not to be too hard on yourself, you are dealing with ALOT!

    Yes this is so normal. The stress of dealing with this is unbelievable. 

    It is impossible to know how hard this is until you are actually going through it!

    S-o-o-o normal!  He's terrified and men react with anger when they're scared or sad - but right now YOU have to come first - if this keeps up talk to the social worker at your cancer centre or pcp's office and perhaps your DH can visit too.  Sending hugs, S.

    Fight was basically about EVERYTHING! How I'm lazy, how we drink to much, how our son has a bad attitude, how I have a bad attitude... I mean anything and everything! He was just lashing out like crazy. Rationally I know most of what he said is not true, and he doesn't think that way. We have been together 16 years and get along great. This was right before and all through the night. He is not good with emoitions, at all. This whole process sucks!

    Coblindie,  I'm so sorry that you have had to join the club no one wants to join.  I bought a book that was very helpful for myself and husband titled: Breast Cancer Husband(<--click the blue title).  It's early days, lots of shifts ahead so hang on and take good care.

    He's scared ((hugs))

    This is going to be a hard road and he might need someone to talk to about all of this.....you probably will need that too. First things first, finding out your exact dx and getting your treatment plan. Once all of that is figured out, hopefully things will settle down a little. The unknown is frightening and stressfull.

    This board saved me many times thru out this process, and it continues to do so.
