Liposuction after Diep?

Having had two unsuccessful revisions of the diep reconstruction, and still a cup size different (maybe more) on one side, does anyone know if lipo alone will correct this and even up the girls? I really hate the thought of undergoing more revision in the hospital. I know I can always go back and talk with the PS but since I wasn't happy with the previous revisions, am reluctant to go the conventional route. Hoping someone with similar result can offer some insight and whether or not you went to a same-day lipo clinic, etc. --Shelly

    I don't know if lipo alone will fix things for if you will need more but you can find out....    

    I bounced through a number of DIEP revisions with a local ps and things still looked bad.  I ended up getting consults from a number of very experienced DIEP surgeons (I traveled for some of the consults).  They evaluated the work that was done and then made recommendations.  I ended up switching ps and am now happy with my results.  Personally I would not let someone from a "lipo clinic" touch me.  Cosmetic enhancement is a very different skill set compared to reconstruction.  If you go for consults consider seeing ps that are (of course very skilled and with a large number of happy "customers") completely unrelated to your first ps- trained at a different place and works out of a different hospital.  You don't want politics coming into play here and you also want a truly fresh opinion.
