Okay little smarty pants!  I am so happy you are doing well enough to even THINK about riding that little Gem!

Just don't get on it, until you can pick it up, in case it falls over....  My Husbands fell against him and our fence one time, and it was sooooooo heavy, I didn't think he could get it off of him!  He finally sold it...  But it was a HUGE Kawasaki something or other!

I love the color!  Don't go out at night.... And don't go on highways..... just do little trips like to Walmart....  Burger King..... things like that.

You know, one time last month, we went up to Black-hawk to gamble.... and we saw all these flashing lights ahead of us....

At an intersection, some AH rear-ended this Harley, and as the guy went down, his GUN in his shoulder holster shot him!  So he was having a BAD day!  I mean it isn't enough to get rear-ended, and dump his bike, but he shot himself!  DAMN!

That guy took off, but they later tracked him down in his stolen car.... the Casino's had all kinds of camera's going, so they were all over him!    I don't know what happened to either one of them.....    The Biker had traveled from NJ to Colorado, and was carrying a gun, for self protection, which I think he SHOULD have.... but what a freaky thing to happen.

I'm just a worry-wart.... but only tell me, when you get on that thing, and get home safely..... Ha!

Chevy I promise I will let you know when I ride,  plus I never ride alone ibbelong to group off riders called Rolling Thunder motorcycle club up north in Barrie Ontario and it's a big group of bikers so they look after each other lol I also took many courses in order to get my full license so defensif driving, I know it's very dangerous but I don't go speeding I don't do crazy 😜 stuff I am extra careful .I also know that it's not always enough cuz been on a bike means been at way higher risk but I also know I enjoy it and I now more than ever want to enjoy what Ever life has to offer cuz i can't be bother with What if lol

I will be extra careful ;)))

My 2 cents. I had a MC license for years. I also drove a school bus for years. Think about that. Those suckers are BIG and ugly. People would hit them, mine too, and say they didn't see it. So if the dummies CANT see a school bus, what chance do you have on a bike?  Gave up my MC license.

Enerva that's u, u are so beautiful u'll really be HOT on that bike. I had a friend in a MC club until she was almost 60 and they all traveled so much and she enjoyed it for alot of years. I think they sold their bikes when they retired hahaha--but that one looks brand new and it's not? I love the color especially. Yea I think u'r winter comes at any time where u live so it might have to wait, but u can visit it a lot until u'r ready. U know what u'r doing on the bike otherwise u wouldn't have bout it, Oh I just remembered when I worked at Titles and Reg. at the state  I was playing cashier one day and there was a huge line for stickers and in this line was a huge man--tsll and big---with all these tattoos and really looked scary well when it came time to come up , he came to my window to renew hi MC sticker and he paid by check--I looked at the check and it was with Barbies on it--I looked at him and started LOLing and he said --I know my wife wanted these and won't let me get any other ones--he was adorable. And he started LOLing too. It just goes to show u how u look st people cuz the month of March all the MC stickers were due and they'd all come in and they were all so sweet and fun and never complained about the wait or anything. So God speed little one and enjoy u'r "bike" MUAH

Thanks Cami, lol yes I did take two courses and I am way more confident now. Sobresitos she looks hot and she is a 2000 how about that so is a Suzuki sv650 year 2000 she had 5 previous owners and 34,840 km lol you see she is not young lol I am now 41 so I am not young either but I will treasure her ;)

When I finished chemo I sold my 2011 Honda Cbr250 cuz the pain, I thought I was never going to be able to ride again. But now this new surgery has been great I was telling wheeptmom how the burning went away and I only have pain in the incisions area which should go away so I thought about it and started looking. Saw this bike and just loved her looks, when and saw review on YouTube and then emailed the guy to go have a look at her and sit on it to check if it could be right size for me. When I saw her in person I fall for her lol  here is my old bike before bc.

Hello to all, I have enjoyed all the banter & friendships this thread has produced.....

Sas, thanks for the PM, nice to have you check in with me. DH is much improved, only has 3 more days of IV antibiotics. Swelling is down, he is feeling so much better.

Spookie, Chevster & Sas, if I had some magical sky miles, to fly for free, I would be on the plane to meet you all in Celebration...( is that the name of the place? ). It would be a blast to hang with you for the afternoon. Sadly, no free tickets... We will need photos.

Chevster, a airy skirt, you know hippie style, would be perfect. Tie dyed t-shirt, fancy flip flops. Maybe some hair extensions in pink.... You could rock that look...your poor daughter would need a Valium, maybe DH also....hehehe....

Envera, I looked up info on your motorcycle club. Sounds like a very worthy, honorable group. Your new bike is awesome.....you look fabulous on it. Stay safe, please....

Hootie Hoo Patty Pepper....I hope your not too worn out from company. House guests stress me out. I wish I could  relax & enjoy having overnight guests, trying to get better about it.

Paw, chit girl, frozen shoulder joints? You are a mess! I had minor frozen shoulder joint after my shoulder surgery. Physical therapy took care of it, but if I put my arms through total range of motion, they both hurt immediately. Hell to get old. I hope the new Dr. can help with the iron problem.

Cami, seems like you are on a holiday from family all nighters. I had layovers in O'Hare on both flights, thought of you....

So, I was actually able to read a book ( yes, the whole damn thing ) on my trip. This was a big deal, because I have not been able to focus since dx, long enough to stick with a book. Also, having no house stuff & cooking lends to more down time. In DC I did not go out after dark. NYC we ate dinner at 11:00 at night...I read the Glass Castle. Has anyone else read it?

So, everyone, will most, are in bed....BUT today is.......a special day....

hole, every day is ice cream day! Haven't had any yet.

Enerva, your bike is sweet. Just be careful, there's lots of idiots on the road.  I checked the pmps thread. I don't think that's what I have/hurt. It doesn't seem that bad.  Did your pain start right after the bmx? Mine has only been the last couple months. I'm pretty sure part of it is the weight lost.  I started wearing a bra about a month ago. It's help in the upper poles where I could feel the stretching, but now it's hurts in the armpits if I wear the bra more than 5 hours or so. The 3rd PS said he thinks it's the way the implants are attached. I didn't think implants attached to anything, just sat in the pocket. Sass, do you know?  I haven't watched a surgery but I will if it helps my understanding of what's going on.  I see the 2nd PS on the 16 to see what she will do and not do, then I have to decide to stay or change ins.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hole, I did pick up a book from the library today. My book club is reading The Magician's Assistant this month. It's a little late about the coffee ice cream tho. I would have celebrated if I'd known earlier.

Smaarty, Did someone fit you with that bra? You do need to make sure it's not up in your armpit, especially if nodes were removed. I just bought my second Genii bra.

smarty well after my mx I had pain but it went away. Then after my exchange it just became brutal specially cuz there was burning and pain that did not go away so whippetmom thought maybe I had PMPS and I was sent to check that tread I was convinced I had it, now after this ps took those dame implants out and work on the pockets again to fit new rounds implants all my problems went away I am dealing with pain but only on the incisions which most likely should improve soon. It's better every day less, I am now taking only Tylenol imagine after 8 months of perkoset I now take regular Tylenol and it's been 10 days since my surgery ;)

So that's why whippetmom and I are intrigued thinking there must have been something done way wrong by previous ps and this one was able to correct it. I will interrogate him this Tuesday when I see him ;)

wren, I went to Norhstrom and was fitted. I don't wear that one, it's not comfortable at all. Seemed ok at the store. :(. I only had one node removed, both armpits will hurt.

Well good morning girls!  Cammi!!!  I was at Starbucks yesterday, walking around the mall, and... wait..... I was walking around the mall, and happened to stop at Starbucks, and look what I SAW!  Hah!  Stopped in my tracks and thought of you!    To me it says Katie-Kat...  so just thought you would feel honored that a coffee blend was named after your cat!....(See, before, it sounded like Starbucks was "walking around the mall" and I had to stop in my tracks, and correct that bad grammar.)

222222222222!  That was so funny!  Hah!

Enerva, it is gals like you that give the REST of us here, "HOPE" that they don't have to go through life, with pain, and feeling so bad, and with implants that just don't look right!   I'm so glad you researched it all, and came up with a "team" and the incentive to go through with yet another surgery to correct the damage done the first time!    So I wish I could give you a hug....  Yes, you ROCK little Enerva!!!!  clap-clap!!!!!

Smarty, we are with you kid....  You are doing all you can to find out what is wrong!  There will be an answer.... and I just know it.   Just keep on keepin on, until you are able to live without pain, and get things done right!   Maybe the new Doc will come up with an answer?  Just sit down and think about it....  Then take all your notes and questions with you, and see what this one says...  Get that insurance figured out...

GOD, I have to go tomorrow to the tax people, and get that slight $7000 IRS bill figured out!   I know it is wrong, but it makes my stomach drop everytime I think about it!

Okay now Spookie, you are going to scare little Enerva, if I haven't already!   See, as we get ancient, I mean older, we tend to frown on those carryings on, that we used to do, so Spookie is just being  a little worriesome with her .... um ...... words.  SHE don't get on no damn bike, so she will, of course of course, frown when young cute things want to do that very thing SHE used to do!  I think she was pretty wild if you ask me.....  but that's another story....

See Spookie?  Enerva DID have long blonde hair blowing in the wind.... like that SONG!  Neil Young!   So she is sowing her wild oats.... not on the pole, but on her bike.  We have to encourage her, and say "You GO girl!  Ride with the wind!"

And WTH?  People don't wear pants there?  You probably don't even HAVE any!  I have some Capri's....  maybe I'll look THEM up...

But HIO, I CAN'T wear no damn skirt!  I SEE them, and think they are cute, but they get so tangled up on that pole.... you see?   Besides I am only 4 feet tall, and I just hate hemming those things!   And when I stand over those air grates on the sidewalk, that skirt  keeps blowing up, and I can't bring myself to move ON!

So morning Wren, and Blondie!  Cammi!  That story was funny....  Oh it's just hard to believe you busted out laughing....  Ha!  Are you kidding?  We are laughing from the time we get up, until someone hits us over the head to shut up!

And I'm wearin' my PANTS, Dangit!

OH Good Morning Owlettes, Another Beautiful Day. It will likely rain all day on and off. Poor Shats will spend most of the day in the closet... Donnie is trying to take pics with his new phone of the pool enclosure. I'm changing my mind already. Have NO idea what it will end up being LOL The trelises are practical. Once up, no fuss . The curtains will need fussing all the time. Plus, the curtains are WHiTE OH SO WHITE. The enclosure is 22 y/o white. Bronze/brown enclosures are most common in Florida. I was entranced with the one white enclosure, I saw when we had ours built. No one told me how much work it was to keep the white ones clean. Cleaning twice a year.

The trelises would be cut into an arch. It's doable with Donnie. He can do anything. The one wall is just very nice already.

If we had a blow I would have to take curtains down. That means a ladder. Ladder means climbing. Not sure that's a smart thing at my age. There's a part of my mind, my angel,  started off very mild, but is rapidly getting more insistant on being practical. This morning my angel is starting to yell at me, "Are you F***king crazy". So we will see. A new design is gelling.

I can do split screen now with the windows 8. Two windows open at the same time side by side. Yay.

Enerva, You Rock! Following your dream YAY! Keep us updated on the foobs. Very, very intriguing on the change in symptoms. So happy that it got better versus now being a problem.

Smarrty (and Enerva). My pain never went away until this spring--five years. The first year was a nightmare. Retrospectively, not sure how I survived it. Second year was better b/c I was on daily pain meds. Heavy duty. The Iron Bra pain lasted about four years, but each year was less. Went off the daily pain meds after the third(?) year. The armpit pain (drain pocket location) didn't go away until this summer. Have no idea why all the problems. The doc put on the implant card that he used 850cc. But who knows. I'm bigger than I ought to be, but not as big as you all.

The armpit pain. I referred above to the drain pocket location. When they put the drains in they make a pocket. To do that, they separate the tissue in the axilla and the upper arm. This area b/c of all the lymph nodes, lymph vessels, blood vessels, and nerves, can be really unhappy with all of the tissue disruption. It's like trying to build a highway in the middle of a city. In that analogy think of all the buildings that are moved and roads disrupted. Debris that has to be cleaned up. The city is disrupted for a very long time. I've not made that analogy before, but it's a very good one.

Smarrty, with your redo, I think I would find out what happened to Enerva's surgeries. Even try to get her doc to talk to your doc. Enerva's description is absolutely unusual. If I were in a "do or redo" situation, I would definitely want whatever she got.

Smarty, if I were a writer, I would consider that Enerva's experience was so unusual that it was worth trying to get something published.

RE; question of attachment --don't know, but whippettmom would :)

Hows the swimming going? I'm between 30-40 laps(900 to 1400 ft). Feeling very good. Doing a world of good. Going to tell the PCP she can take the pain meds off the med list. Haven't used them much for awhile. Had them left there as my safety net. Big move to have then removed.

BTW every pound you lost, it found it's way to me. But i think it's stopped LOL :)

OH GolfGirl, sounds like everything has settled down on the home front. YAY. It'd be so nice to have some peace for awhile. With Dh  for the forseeable future have Dh elevate the leg at rest i.e sitting in a chair and pump. How much walking is he doing? Walking and elevation are his best friends.......Wish you could come to Celebration :) You sound GOOD, like a weight has been lifted :)

Blondie Love you Babe! Tried calling you the other day and your numbers changed. Just wanted to chat.

Pepper company can be wearing, but I miss not having as much as I used too! Hey, want to come for a visit?  Hint I'm in Florida :)

Paws, this is generally the opposite of what I recommend, but It's like Chevy said unless you need to rock climb, rapelling, trapeze flying, painting(hire someone), window washing(hire someone) think hard about NOT having physical therapy. The key to what you said is you didn't even know that you didn't have full range of motion. Your activities that you do daily, have not been limited. AND I didn't hear that you were having shoulder pain. Therefore, in the absence of limitation of daily life activity and no pain, you could stir up a hornets nest with physical therapy. Once the hornets are aflyin', you may not be able to get them back in the cone. There could be tearing of the scar tissue that is now present. When that tissue is released, it could tear adjacent tissue. If that tissue is adjacent to nerve structures that could set in motion a problem that can't be undone/corrected. Docs and Pt's want everything  to be normal. I usually, as I said, right in the beginning agree, but your situation is unique. I think it falls under the category of "If it ain't broke , don't fix it".

Smarrty, the bra thingy, Anything I did the first three years only worked for a short time. Then I would go to the next plan. In year four, I found Vanity Fair 72297. I can wear them with comfort. I have no clue if they would have helped my situation in the earlier years. I did have a trained person do a fitting after all the surgeries in the first year. Same as you that bra ended up not working. It went in the drawer. Then I bought a few others that were marginally comfortable. The VF ones I can wear all day with comfort :) Every foob is different LOL.

2nd, Sleepless in SoCal-------Hugs, Call me when you wake up and have a pot of coffee ready :) Donnie's working all day and I have research project that I'd like to avoid LOL :)

Spookie, what fun we get to bring our furbabies. Shats is always very good, but you can tell she's anxious b/c her tail isn't curled. But she let's people pet her and she's very well behaved. Now Dini on the other hand, I would NEVER take him in public like we are going to do. Can't wait!

ALYoop, Blueberry JWooohoo, Littlegoats, wren, 3rd, Philly waving \|/^/|\^\|/^\|/^ Sorry, if I forgot someone  HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Morning owls, going shopping in a little bit. Need a new suitcase. Sass, I'll be in Florida on nov 1, our cruise leaves nov 2. Back on 10th. I think you're not close to Miami.

Thank you SAS and you are right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The rheumatologist office backs up to a physical therapist office and as I was leaving the office there was a sign about new clinical trail now enrolling people with frozen shoulder. So, no, they won't get me to enroll. Cami I guess we don't have to worry if we can't reach over our heads, we are not a pole dancer like someone we know.

I love the yellow bike Enerva. If you come to California you can ride year round cause we don't worry about old man winter here.

Chevy, I wear pants most of the time. Nicer dress pants for work and jeans most other times. I look forward to seeing pics of you with SAS and Spookiesmom and the fur babies.

2nd, those sheep, so funny. I'll be seeing you soon for our bco get together. Hope you are doing well.

LittlePaws, yes, don't try and do that anymore....  It's like my leg/hip stuff....  No, I can't do all that I used to do with it.... but as long as I can walk pretty well, and do it without a cane, I don't care.  It doesn't like to hold my weight like my other leg does.... And it's hell, just trying to get up on that pole!  I use a step-stool, if I have the urge.

Sometimes when you exercise things that are not USED to it,. they rebel, and raise all kinds of hell....  THEN you know you should not do that again.   So don't go raising your arms up....  unless the ceiling falls in on you, and you need to hold it up.

So I don't exercise....  just gardening and cleaning, and painting, etc!

Sometimes when my leg hurts, it's because it doesn't LIKE the position it is in, then I have to move around, "ow, ow, oh God, ow" and then sit more properly!  It has NOT gotten used to belonging to the rest of me.... it has issues....  and I'm trying to whip it into shape, and "belong."

Hah Spookie.... See?  LilPaws wears slacks too!  And she lives in Ca!  You guys just think you are teen-agers, and wear shorts and flip-flops and probably smoke and drink too! Your hair is probably dyed purple..... or red even!   And you chew gum and flip everyone off!  You might try and corrupt me..... but I will not succumb.

And Smarty!  WTH?  You can't figure out how underwear works?  Just don't wear em'.

And like Sass says.... Paws..... don't go stirrin' up no hornets nest!  You know what I did one time?  There was this HUGE one, out on my front porch.... It is enclosed, so those wasp/hornet things, just thought they were living in heaven.  And I didn't want to hurt them, much less KILL them.

So I had this all planned out.  I got a big black plastic pot, and a spatula, and a step-stool! And a plate.   I went out one early morning, got up there, bucket in one hand under the paper hive, slipped the spatula on top of the hive, scraped it off the ceiling of the porch, covered it with that plate.....stepped down rather quickly, ran to the ditch next to my house,  and carefully turned the bucket over, and the wasps were all going like...... "What just happened?  Where ARE we!"  and I ran back home.  So they were re-located.

They are probably still shaking their heads, thinking "was I DREAMING?"

Wow==wait---I can't believe I'm going to say this BUT Chevy that was a good idea about the nest.--Even tho u were crazy doing it, it worked-I'm sure u made blueprints for it to make sure u could stand the challenge--And u go ahead and wear u'r pants everyone will already know u'r a visitor cuz u have no color, but because u'r old they just might think u stay in a lot. Either way what do u care, the girls will have paper towels and wipe wets for u. And I love Starbucks, when ever my boss come here he brings me a great big one--coffee that is--- he's been busier --cuz of muah so I don't see him as much--He hands me the coffee first and then I hug and kiss him cuz of the coffee, of course.

Enerva u'r just a little one ad so pretty and now u have a super beautiful full figure back--I'm so happy u'r doing so well.

Sas u'r catching up really well---WHITE, u painted it WHITE that's the last color I would paint anything now a days.

I hope u'r all doing well, or decent anyway. I have to take a nap cuz I'z need one.

Cammi, you are such a TRAMP!  A BIG one?  Sure you say a hug....and a kiss and a a BIG one?  And you would KNOW!  Do you have his number?  I mean in case he is free sometime?    No, I am 5 feet, and one inch tall!  Even more so with my Crocs on....    I was just kidding about the 4 feet thing.... just seein' if you were paying attention..... this time.

No, I didn't make no damn blue-prints!  I SHOULD have, it was such an ingenious idea, but you know, bugs also have their place!  If it weren't for them I wouldn't have any tomatoes....!   I used to spray ever thing that moved!  But I have mellowed in my o..... I mean as I have become ol...... I mean since I have become more aware of my surroundings.

I wish I had a boss to bring ME a big one, and also a coffee!
