You better bring some shorts and flip flops when you come here!! I gar-in-tee you it will be HOT at your DDs I mean like 90+.
Geesh. I hate wearing socks with my Birkenstocks. Looks stupid. Long pants, shirts with sleeves, jackets. Makes for a nice change for a few weeks.
-
HAHAHAhahahahh. Spookie's right, I look stupid when I wear socks with my birkenstocks. But to wear regular shoes is just plain uncomfortable.
Yes, Chevy you should bring some shorts. I used to not wear short sleeves b/c my arms were FAT. But now I've reached an age that it's too uncomfortable when you get out in the humidity. I was going to ask if you could pick a restaurant that was dog friendly and I could bring Schatzi. But that means eating outside. I don't think you could take that ...with your age an all
I love dog friendly restaurants. All these people sitting at tables with their well mannered dogs at their feet. Proprieters provide water bowls. It so civilized. It confounds Schatzi, with all the activity. Celebration Florida has almost all dog friendly restaurants.............Sure wish I could talk you into an overnight here. I may have the pool enclosure done by then. Putting up curtains , scarves, and trelises. If it turns out the way I envision it, it will be beautiful. Course making it up as I go along, hitting some mistakes already. It'll all turn out in the end
If I got my neighbor to take some pics could I email them too you and you post them? Before and after pics?Fixed the mouse, the cheese worked. Also, turning the computer off and back on, helped a little

Cami, yoohooo where are you????????????????? Waving everyone
:):):) -
HHHEEEEELLOOOOOO Ladies,
I'm around, but didn't read everything but I had to say hi---my comp. isn't 100% yet but I just don't use it as often, which I hate and I was up most of the nite too. Damn--I did watch an Elton John concert tho and really enjoyed it.
Who found tht pic of the old bones--Chevy did u give it to Hole? No one was supposed to see our pic. But Hole I hope u'r DH is doing better now.
Aly what can I possible say that is so tragic and Chevy u'r DD's friend too. Such a sudden and so young for that. I can't imagine the heartbreak of tragedies like that and I never want to know.
It's still hot here, but will cool off I guess soon--but all week all kinds of calls about A/C's so I've been busy.
Sas u getting things done--u busy bee u.
Work is calling, a lot of people moving too--for inspections, a little surprising to me.
-
YAY Cami happy to see you, Can't Pm back b/c of limits, but sending you a big HUG
-
-
ohhhhh Sas, I could bring Spookie and her stroller!!!! That would be neat!! But yeah, IDK about Chevy and the heat and her age and all.
-
Morning owls....
Your pool enclosure ideas sound nice SAS. Also, I agree, you need to go to pet friendly outdoor restaurant so Schatzi can join you. Chevy loves all animals and would love to meet your dog I'm sure. Nice to see you post Cami, sorry you didn't get much sleep last night.
I have rheumatologist appointment today to start the process of why I have positive ANA test and high C-Reactive protein. Inflammation in the body. Seems to be auto immune disease causing my anemia. Hopefully on track finally to finding out the root cause.
Have a great day and hugs to all.
-
OH Paws Good Luck today I hope you have a real Sherlock Holmes as a doc. I'll try and get pics of the enclosure.

Little Spookie would love it!
-
Good luck Paw, let us know what you find out
This 'splains why I'm here:

-
I think you guys may be trying to get rid of Chevy. She will melt outside in 90+ temperatures. Chevy, wear what's comfortable. At our age we can claim to be eccentric and get away with it.
The fashion police here are really down on sox with sandals. Who cares? They can totter around in their 4" heels all they want. They will pay later.
-
Okay yes.... Could you gals meet in Celebration? I mean is that easy to find, and to get to? There is that one place where you can sit outdoors, with your dog?
I don't know of any places.... do you guys? Don't go making it all complicated, because you know I need to focus....
I focused today at Walmart.... I bought some Mascarpone, to put on toasted raisin bread! It was delicious. Yes, I love your damn dogs.... I don't even KNOW them, but I know they are sweet. The guy next door.... the brainless Vet, with the Roaring LOUD Corvette, that he just HAS to Rev up whenever he feels the urge, JUST got another Great Dane! I mean THIS guy is beyond HUGE! I don't know his name.... just his bark....! So he has 2 now, in that tiny yard! I always gave Thanos milk-bone things, and the new dog wagged his tail, after barking at me, and he took one too! Actually 2 apiece! I like those dogs better than the damn neighbor!
So who is this Cammi person? She must be a spy! She is ALL mixed up.... It wasn't MY Daughter little Cam, it was someone elses, who I kind of forget....
I KNOW Wren! Those 2 are trying to do me in..... but I don't pay any attention anyway. I will wear pajamas like Cammi does.... even flannel ones, if I want!
And WHOever, except old men with shorts wears long socks with sandals????? I will pretend I don't know them! I don't like really hot weather.... because I prefer cooler, or air-conditioned places.... But I will suffer if I have to.
Hi Maddy and LilPaws! Okay kids.... gotta go do something.... tote that barge, and bale that hay! I'm crocking dinner...
-
Chevy YAY I was kidding about Celebration, but if you are up for it. It's absolutely beautiful. It was planned by Walt Disney as a community. Everything in the community is designed to be in walking distance of downtown. Downtown is adorable, with a beautiful lake and fountain. Oodles of restaurants. Most all are dog friendly b/c it's that kind of town. Only one restaurant doesn't have outdoor open for dogs. Their business suffers for it.
Unless we have a change in weather, sitting outside will be lovely. We can do a weather check the night before, and before leaving in the morning. I suggest the Columbia. It's a famous restaurant. The original is in Tampa. There's, also, one in St. Augustine. There's parking a short walk behind it. Then an ice cream store around the corner for dessert. A pet grocery next to that.
It's super easy access for Spookie and I. DS and I meet a few times a year there b/c it's half way between Tampa and Cocoa.
this link is pics of Celebration Florida

We LOVE Celebration~! We go there every time we visit, and I wanted to go back.... Okay.... You know we could even grab something and sit by that lake? Whatever you want to do.... We have eaten at a Restaurant that sits on a corner, but I don't know the name of it!
Sheri told us all about it the first time we went..... One time we were there near Christmas, and at that Intersection there, they made "snow".... which was actually some sort of soap..... Ha! But it was magical! Yes, we LOVE to go to Celebration every time we go.
Is Spookie going to whine? Or does she love it too. THAT is a Looooong way for her to go.... Can she stay all night with you, or do you want her.... See? I'm just making arrangements for her.... She could sleep beside your newly enclosed pool! Wouldn't that be fun if we could have a slumber party? Okay.... never mind.... You two can!
-

I think this is where we always eat.... !
-
I've eaten at that one too
(blue). The one across the street(white) is the only one that isn't dog friendly. They sit empty so often when all the others are full. They just don't get it. Besides they are way pricey. They probably make it with the evening crowd. So glad you LOVE Celebration. If I wasn't connec ted here, I'd move there
-
Ok, I've had a chance to sit down and breathe. Celebration is ok with me. The Columbia looks wonderful. Always wanted to do the Tampa one. Are they pet friendly?
Spookie is a very good girl. As long as she can see me, or I'm holding her, she's ok. She stays in her stroller with no problems. When the car is moving, she sleeps in her car seat. She's not a bit spoiled!
BTW this was taken in mid Nov last year. It was hot! See peeps in shorts?

-
Columbia brings water bowls if you haven't brought your own. We always have. But it's so great all the restaurants except that one do that. First delivery for the pool enclosure came. LOL, I'll drive poor Donnie crazy with the project.
-
Sassy, photos please.
Isn't Spookie the sweetest, most well mannered dog ever! Love the stroller
Paw, did you find out anything today that will help?
Gotta go back and read today's posts
-
Oh all u gals are going to meet up--
with envy. And I love Spookie cuz that bow just does all. Oh don't worry about Chevy she has ice in her veins, not an insult just a fact. She'll be fine just ask for a bowl of water fr her.My computer is acting better but I don't know why---it's scaring me that's for sure.
Good Luck Paw, I hope everything is good.
OK I' around so careful what u say about me ---CHEVY I could be lurking.
-
Spookie is beautiful. She looks so soft. So happy you're posting more again Cami, computers have a mind of their own and I hope your computer continues to let you log on and post.
Well today's visit with the new rheumatologist was mostly history taking and lots of bloodwork. I'll see her again in two weeks. She testing all sorts of immunity things and reasons for anemia related to muscles and joints. I told her I want to live to be 100 but not feel like I'm 100 now. I found out today that my shoulders are frozen and I can't raise arms over my head. I told the doc it might be from the mastectomy....but I never realized I couldn't do this. Does anyone else have trouble putting your hands together and lifting your arms straight up over your head? And why would I ever need to do this anyway?
-
Okay! The Columbia it is.... So you are sending Spookie, and you are not coming? Or did I read that wrong? She has her own wheels! Damn, that dog is GOOD! You know I always wanted to get a stroller for Lacee, especially as she got older, but ...... oh well.... She looks most DAHling!
Yes little Cammi...! But you can come too, if you want to! With Joey, and KatieKat! That would be sooooo much fun! Sheri can bring Penny if she wants too! She is a little dog, that she got a few months ago... Some sort of mix, but little!
Shorts in November! Hah! I don't wear them in JULY! I have the ones I wear on the pole, but they are put away for the Winter. It is 52 degrees out right now... !
Geez Lilpaws! You are stiffer than a board! Is there anything you can do for that, like I mean to become more flexible.... like I am?
I just tried to do that.... and yes I could, but maybe I can't do some things YOU can, so focus on what you can do, and take pictures, and make us all jealous.
You would only need to do that if someone ties your wrists together, and is hanging you from a mast-head or something. So no, you don't need to worry about that one.
This was in my In box... and I throught it was interesting... My Dad was in WW2...
-
gm ladies.
Have had my lil sis and her family in visiting so no time to post. They go home Monday. I have, of course , been reading all of y'all's comments everyday because I know by mon I might be 50 paged behind. Lol besides I love to hear what y'all are up to.
Hootie hoo
-
Hi ladies, hope you're all well
Sass here is what wheeptmom said regarding my pm to her.
whippetmom i
You go girl!!! What great photos! Especially the last one! I am so happy for you!
I think that this answers so many questions for me about PMPS. I have always felt that it has something to do with the dissection of the pocket and the placement of the implants in the pockets. I wish you would tell your PS about the before and after sensory changes...and ask him if there was anything he found during surgery that could explain your prior discomfort.
Now you can get on with your happy life!!!
-
Enerva whats PMPS? Deborah's sucj(h0 a sweetheartr(sweetheart)
. Typing sideways doesn't work that well
-
Permanent mastectomy pain síndrome. There is a tread here on it and lots of great info.
Yes I love wheeptmom
we are amazed by change I am experiencing after my revision surgery.LADIES are you ready to see my new baby!!!!!
Here she is
-
Whoa that a nice one. Just for beautiful boobs Enerva. I'm so glad u'r up for it all. Good for you.
Paw I can't do that either so like Chevy said we'd better not get kidnapped by pirates or the like or we're in trouble. BTW I could do it before all this and I exercise stretches for over 2 years and I still can't do it. So u see Chevy that's why I don't pole dance. My one arm just can't get anywhere and after surgery I did what I was told to do in a timely manner--Uhg that did chit I guess--So I kind of stopped with that arm it only goes so far and what do I need to stretch it for, I put my food in front of me--not where I can't reach it--like I should.
-
Cammi, whatever you just said, okay. What did you just say? I can't do the splits anymore..... except when I have to..... but I don't worry about it. Our arms, and their mobility are not actually too very importantly, at this moment.
So don't worry about getting hand-cuffed, say to the top of the bed..... just go with it. It might loosen you up a bit.
Enerva! You little Tart you! How exCITing! I LOVE it! Just put on one of those cute little crochet tops, and go sashaying down the road! We will all be jealous!
-
ha ha ha I can't ride yet I went to see her, and it was love at first sight lol got the guy to ride it and drop it off and she is sitting in my underground waiting for me to be ready. I am so excited I can hardly wait, if I am lucky I should be able to ride before the season ends. That will mean full gear cuz old winter will be sending his friend cold wind my way. Maybe next season I will wear of of my tops lol
I am so happy I got her. It's an old bike but price was good and I will take good care of her.
)) -
Okay.... you go ride your bike, and I will get another used car..... Ha! Ya wanna race? Yes, that bike is most DAHling~ !
-
lol here is she at my underground
