Decisions - to DIEP or implant??

Well, that didn’t go like I thought it would.  Had my pre-op with the plastic surgeon (surgery is scheduled for 9/10) to review the CT scan results relating to the DIEP flap surgery.  My right blood vessel in my abdomen looks good but the left doesn’t.  Which means in order to make the DIEP work, they’ll have to take some muscle from the left side making that a muscle sparing TRAM flap.  How do I know I’m making the right decision?!?!  I could just cry - again!  Here I thought everything was good and had myself all ready to go and now this.  Has anyone else had this happen?  Were you happy with the results?

On another note - my oncologist also checked my labs and the liver numbers look normal again.  My reds are still low and my platelets are lower than last time but my whites came up to normal range.  So glad those are getting back to normal.
