Bras Not Accountable For Breast Cancer

I'm not sure how they can totally rule out any involvement, especially if you subscribe to the theory (as I do) that it may take a compilation of multiple factors (e.g. genetics, hormones like BCP & HRT, stress, etc.) that eventually tips the scales for some of us.  But for what it's worth...

one study,, only 1500 women,,, doesn't prove anything to me.  Agree with you that it is a compilation of many factors. I don't really think they will find the "cause" of BC, cuz it is too many things put together. (my opinion)

I've spent many nights wondering about causation such as bra's, sugarless gum, sugarfree sweetners, stress, Asthma, certain vitamins.  Its just to overwhelming.  But, thanks for the link.  Food for thought until a cure is found.  Anything could be the culprit.

Environmental toxins are certainly triggers for cancer in developed countries.  This has been known since the 1920's although many still say unknown causes.  IMO, my choice of underwear is probably low on the list for toxicity.

Unless you happen to be one of those kind of girls who wears edible underwear!  Who knows what type of toxins are in those!

Totally agree with all of you ladies.  And when it comes to wired bras, I guess I thought, if anything, the problem might have to do with the wire cutting off circulation, thus trapping and backing up toxic stuff in that area.

And cp, I thoroughly agree about environmental toxins.  It's the reason I started www.healingfinds.com a year ago -- because I am passionate about sharing the non-toxic products I've found and use since my dx.       Deanna
