TJ, you're doing great--hang in there! Probiotics and camisole both really good ideas. Hoping your doc finds you a GREAT LE therapist soon. Keep us posted.
Gentle hugs,

TJuice. So glad you found us and lived thru nightmare. I live on the west coast too. If your talking about a Medical LE specialist DR then let us know if you find a one in Vancouver. I think that would be a vascular surgeon but not sure. Other wise there are a few really good MLD LE therapists in Vancouver area that can help you greatly. What are you looking for? Let me know and I will PM you a good Lymph drainage massage therapist.
Florastor is an excellent product in canada. I did research on this a couple years ago due to food poisoning that left me with chronic diarrhea and the hospitals are taking other probiotics off the shelf and replacing with Florstor. Costco behind the pharmacy shelf has it cheaper than drugs stores. I also take VSL#3 but it is extremly expensive so once I finish I will go back on Florastor.

TJ, I use Florastor probiotic too. If your diarrhea gets worse, be sure and call your doc. Antibiotics mess up the gut flora.

TomJuice. Sorry I thought you were from VAN but I reread your posts and see your NY. Don't know how I screwed up on that one. Possibly because I have had only 3-4 hours sleep since wed night. Insomnia really bad and messing up my mind. Hoping on crashing out now. So it's probably a LE therapist for drainage that you want. Once you get one ask how to do self drainage and care . Get them to measure you. Binney posted a link before on your thread on how to find one. It is essential to learn how to wrap and I practice about once a month just so I don't forget although I don't need wrapping. If you feel your therapist is not working search for another until you are happy.
Let us know how it goes. Glad your on the upswing.

hi hugs 4y...thats okay...its all good..yes hon I live in NYC...Sorry to hear about insomnia.maybe your PT therepist or dr. can reccomend something. I take klonipin at night. Its addictive, so I have to be careful, but it helps me tremendously. Have no regrets about using it..During my antibiotic course had two or 3 days of complete insomnia...Feel my body pulling back together now...called my doctor about diarrhea, by the time he got back to me seems to have subsided. Everyone reminding me about wrapping probably pushed me to to ask my doctor for LE Specialist. He's working on that for me. Last night I wore my camisole , glove & hand.. compression felt good to me, but then when I had to prepare dinner didn't know what to do. So I had to take it off. Then I found that i probably need something different for chest compression, because pulling the camisole over my head is not easy ..and could potentially hurt my arm. Feeling better today emotionally too.even my lithium seems to be getting back on track with the help of my Phychiatrist. Think maybe since i had already been taking raw probiotic for many months before my infection was a good thing. when diarrhea started went back taking them and it stopped. Thanks to everyone here on this site-no words

It's good to read your news TJ. I'm relieved to hear your cellulitis has vamoosed. AND that the diarrhea was fleeting. Both are nasty. Here's to your health, all the way around.
