Anyone unhappy with exchange results
Had a nipple sparring double mast in April, then TE which were exchanged on August 28.
I have a Mentor 550cc and when I took the bra off after exchange to shower was shocked to see what my new breasts look like.
They are smaller than I expected (wanted a full C cup) but the nipples are sideways and pointed down.
Does anyone know if this can be corrected? The TE were filled to 660cc and 480cc so a little disappointed with my final result.

I can relate very well to your feelings. I too had a BMX IN APRIL OF 2011 with an exchange done in August. Both my nipples also point sideways . One breast looks like a hamburger roll and the other just looks bad. However, when I have clothes on I look quite normal and there in lies the problem. When I take my bra off my breasts look awful. Everyone tells me " so don't look in a mirror". Easier said than done. My BS. Kept telling me to give it some time, that things would change. She was right , things got worse. My nipples are on a migrating course for my armpits! I did see a PS for a second opinion and he wasn't too reassuring about any corrective surgery. For now I've been letting things go as I'm very active and don't want to spend any further down time right now but lately I've been having a lot of discomfort as my nipples get pulled further out as the scars contract. If it keeps up I may have to see someone for yet another opinion.
The bottom line for you is that it's still early in your recovery but if you're unhappy keep telling your doctor so maybe you can have something done to correct the situation.
BTW, I was never really concerned about the size . I actually would have preferred to be smaller but I think I'm just about the same as pre-op.

It is VERY early yet. Your implants will settle as your pectorals relax, and your nipples will more than likely change position as well as things "drop & fluff". Is there a reason you were filled so much more on one side over the other (rads?). It can take 6-12 months to know your "final result" and most PS's won't consider revisions until at least 6 months out.
You might want to check with whippetmom on Breast Implant Sizing 101 (read the header for info you need to get her) to check on the sizing.

Sorry your going through this DocBabs and thanks for the info.
DiveCat I saw my PS yesterday and he said once everything settles he could move the nipples up but said "I wouldn't want that"
not sure what he means exactly but I'll try to be patient. Right now I'm in a tight fitting sports bra with gauze around the breast to keep them in place I think.
