So happy for your great news, Linda! I love it when we get to share positive news with each other.
-
Thanks friends! I appreciate your good wishes. I am hoping all of us will keep on the right track and kick the BC crap to the curb! Have a great weekend and know that I am grateful for your friendship!
-
Got a letter today from the radiologist at the imaging center that did my mammogram. No evidence of cancer. Woohoo!
-
Wahoo GrandmaV!!!! -
The happy dance for Grandma V! -
Thanks, Sue and Nel.

Grandma ~ FANTASTIC! I got my letter on Friday, but I wasn't too anxious since the PET scan was normal. Oh the happiness we feel when the word "negative" refers to us...but in a good way...lol!
-
So happy for you, Linda and Grandma!
Have a great week everyone!
-
Thank you Linda and Bahamamom!

The Navelbine seems to be working! My bumps are shrinking. They feel like thousands of needles are sticking them but I can see and feel it working. Finally a good positive for me. Thus chemo is rough on me physically but when I can see the results, it is worth the pain.
I pray good days for each of you.
-
Beth, I am so glad that your chemo is working. Hopefully it will shrink the tumors into oblivion. Visible improvement must be reassuring to see. I also love your attitude!
-
Beth,Wonderful news!
-
Hello to all of my wonderful November 2011 buddies! Beth ~ So happy that you are seeing good results. As we all know, chemo is a grueling process, but knowing there is positive change must be very gratifying. Hope your treatment kicks those nasty bumps to the curb! Hugs to all...Linda

Beth, I'm so happy its working!
-
Saw my onco today. Happy to report it was very uneventful.
-
Grandma ~ I would be thrilled if all of us keep having "uneventful" appointments with the MO's. That is my major goal in life! Glad you are an uneventful patient right now...that is so wonderful.
-
Anyone out there? Happy fall to all of you!
-
I'm here Linny. Happy fall to all as well
Nel

Great to hear from you! Hope you are doing well. Take care and I hope that we hear from some of our November 2011 group. Hugs to you...Linda

Here 's to uneventful doctor appointments, Grandma! Most of us were diagnosed in September, so this makes 3 years for us now. It is funny. In some ways it seems like it was just yesterday that we started our journeys together, and in other ways it seems like such a long time ago. I have my mammogram and oncologist check next week. Hopefully, they will also be boring and routine.
-
I hope to visit the Babiez for their 2nd birthday. I had to have neupogen injections this week because my counts were low. I understand this is a common side effect of Navelbine. Hopefully tomorrow's counts will be good and I can go on the road with my son and daughter in law. I am enjoying each day and all that comes with them. Such a blessing to see the sun shine. I don't like too many rainy days.
Wishing good days to each of you.
-
Beth, I always got a shot of something because of low counts when I was getting taxotere and cytoxyn chemo. I can't remember if that was the name of it or not, but after my white count was so low a few days after the first infusion, they just routinely sent me for the shot the day after each infusion. And it really worked, raised the count pretty high pretty fast. I hope you get to give the babies their birthday kisses. Have a safe trip.
-
Beth,
Enjoy the babies It seems like just yesterday that we were waiting for you to post about their birth. How far we all have come, babies especially!
Best,
Ellen

Hi everyone, I've been without I internet for a while and it looks like it will be a while longer. I've missed checking in with you all. My son stopped by for a few minutes so I tapped into his to let you know. will explain more when I get mine back. Beth, hang in there. -
Ok, new internet finally connected. My modem lasted 9 years before it died. My old internet provider wouldn't disconnect and evidently the new one couldn't connect until they were gone. 3 weeks without internet. I hadn't realized how much I depended on it, until it was gone. Hope everyone is ok. I'm doing ok.

Welcome back!
-
Thanks Nel -
Welcome back Grandma! I am still trying to find answers to these bumps. I hate to think that the chemo is not working. I had low counts this week so no chemo. It is very scary and I am fighting depression. My husband is trying to keep my mood up but he works 2nd shift so I am home alone at night. I can't drive because of the pain pills. I'm sorry to complain but I need to get it out.
I hope each of you have blessed days!
-
bethu complain away. I hope you begin to feel better and get some answers to the bumps. Everything that happens to us can be so frighteneing. We are here- keep us posted
Gentle hugs coming your way
Nel
-
Beth, thank you. We don't mind the complaining. This is the place to get it out. I hope those bumps soon disappear. Like Nel said this is frightening. You're in my prayers. Hugs from me too.
