4sew, I am on the lobby internet again...lol... I hate to sound stupid, but, are the compression undies ( girdle ) for the fat graphing or lipo? You never complain after surgery, so of you say it hurts, we know it must...
Enerva, hope it gets better soon. I hate to hear of you girls in pain...
Blondie, waving back hello..
Dutchie, hard to let them go. I still miss my kids, & I see them a lot. So, you must be single?
-
Single since 2000 and their only parent. I have the kids born between 1993 and 1996. I was quite busy.
-
Oh sure Spooky! And I don't do pole dancing either! Ha! Well, I don't, but I would like to..... DD showed me right where you live, AND Sassy, so if you guys want to meet like some restaurant or somewhere by Dr. Philips neighborhood for a couple hours? And then you could go stay with that Sassy again, and smoke and drink and party like bad girls DO!
-
Whatever works best for you and DD. just tell me where, I'll put it in OnStar.
-
The compression garment is fore the lipo you wear them for a couple of weeks so the skin has time to shrink and not be all sloppy. Plus the support just feels good. I also have a surgical bra on to keep the left fin from shifting. Hopefully that one won't need another thing for 30 years! You are correct that this hurts this time! I haven't ever taken the pain pills even with MXs. But this hurts. He said it was fused on rad side and he had to pry it apart. Yikes!
Chevy. It's a crotchless girdle. That's much sexier than panties! Are you flying thru Atlanta? I could bring lunch and we could picnic on your layover!
Ok so I am really being good cuz I had to twist the arm of the PS to even give this a go. If it fails he won't try it again so I am really trying to be good.
Wish I could sleep though. I haven't been to sleep since I woke in recovery. I know why MJ liked the Propofol!
-
Oh I remember the Propofol also! And I wasn't sick after surgery! Had the same thing with my hip!
Okay 444444444....! It is a flight with SouthWest, and non-stop~! So that's probably good.... The less air-time with DH, the better.... Hope you are feeling better, and can get some sleep!
All 4 of us went down-town today, to first.... REI, then went over to the "new" remodeled Union Station! Walked all around there.... I was there like when I was a little girl, with my Dad coming home from the War! Then seeing my Brother off, joining the Navy..... Wow..... so many memories..... and completely different now, full of restaurants, coffee-shops, and even hotel rooms!
And the 16th St. Mall is totally different.... We rode a shuttle up and down, and couldn't believe all the new huge buildings! Then drove towards home, going down the old North Denver neighborhood where DH grew up! So many new high-rise apartments & buildings now!
And the girls just left to go explore MORE shops, and will be back later for a Pizza....
So much running around..... glad I'm so young and energetic.... Ha!
Okay Spookie..... I'll let you know probably when we get there..... is that okay? Have to see what the boys can arrange also!
-
PM coming
-
Geez Spookie.... could you spare any more words?

Holeinone, Great pic of you landing on the moon

I hope your pain level lessens Enerva.
4444, hope you get some good sleep soon.
-
Holeinone - what a great pic of you!
I have such fond memories of visiting the Air and Space museum with my uncle... a dear man who was a West Point graduate, a career Army officer (retired Major) who also worked at the Pentagon, and lives near DC. He truly is one of the most intelligent people I know... after the army, he earned his Doctorate, was Chancellor of a university, and his last job was with a Think Tank.
He took me to the Smithsonian A&S many years ago, and we climbed into the mock-up of the Space Shuttle.
All of a sudden, he yells out into the crowd below...........PIGS IN SPAAAAAACE!!!!!! and then cracked himself up laughing. He said "I've always wanted to do that."
He was, of course, referring to the Muppet Movie, "Pigs In Space".....
-
Morning gals! Blessings, we were able to watch a Shuttle Launch one time at Cape Canaveral, and I'll always remember it...
I found this site and thought you would like to see it...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmV90BmMNMg
I remember them landing on the Moon for the first time, and thought it was soooooo hard to believe! You are very proud of your Uncle! That is pretty special with all of your memories!
HiHo! Yes! You must have been on the moon landing.... Ha!
DD lives in Orlando, and she LOVED knowing when the lift-offs were, and would be in the back-yard on the golf course, watching it fly over!
-
Sas can be in her pool and see them. We can see the shots on the west coast if it's clear.
-
hey owls, been off-line. DH had vacation and I didn't get much PC time, between him hogging the computer and me keeping him on task whittling down the honey-do list. I'm 12 pages behind. Will get caught up but just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm OK.
Someone (2TA?) asked about the bar of soap trick for foot/leg cramps. Here's a link from the People's Pharmacy. It's how I first heard about it. BBL ♥ to all
-
OHHHH I miss u gals---I can't catch up with everyone so here goes.
Hole u look wonderful and going to the moon and back so quickly u r AMAZING.
OK I have to yell at Enerva and 444 Please Please take it so easy, and ask for any help u need for anything. U really have to pamper u'rselves 24/7 until it's OK and do nothing else--U might feel Oh it's not so bad today, but beware of false signs--It's bad until it is all healed. Enerva I'm sorry u'r in the pin u'r in and 444 u must be too. Just keep those pain meds going don't let the pain get ahead of u. Please rest.
Chevy I'm am so glad u had so much fun and the time with both u'r DD's, it's wonderful--it doesn't get much better than that ---Oh unless u count the times--oops sorry won't remind u again.
My boss is getting me the damn battery, so I can use this just not much but I had to pop in just to say hello and don't forget me, cuz u know how I care about u gals. I told u I have 4 very special threads and I like to not miss all of these things, but until I get my computer all fixed I just try to let everyone know I think of u gals so much and pray for all of my friends on BCO--U mean a lot to me. Go ahad Chvy make fun of me now. OK I still can't spell or type.xxxoooxxx
-
Thank you, Chevy!!!!
That video was so fascinating, I just posted it on my FB page!!!!
It kind of made me dizzy to think of drifting around in zero gravity, but I did laugh at how her hair and her necklace just floated around her.
Just another day in space!!!!!
-
So glad you liked it! I thought it was fascinating too....
Both my girls are gone............ BUT, they both came over, and we stopped at Starbucks, which is a necessity, then we went to Lakeside Amusement Park! I can't believe we DID that..... I mean we went there when we were kids! Got my first kiss on the roller-coaster, going up through the tunnel! Don't remember anything after that, Ha, ha!
But it's all still THERE! Sort of run-down, and the rides are only 1 to 5 tickets, meaning 10 cents a ticket! $3 to get in! A little different than DisneyWorld!
We rode the little train all around the lake, then watched the girls ride some of the rides THEY rode when they were kids.
My Brother sat-in on the drums with the Stan Kenton Band when he was about 15! The "Fun-house" is gone, but all those rides in there were specifically designed to make you throw up!
Anyway, our fun is now over..... She is waiting to catch her plane.... geez, I miss her.... I know she is in her 50's, but still my first little girl.
Oh well, we will be there on the 24th.... She said she is coming again in the Spring.... I'm sure she thinks we are getting older, and need her company.... Ha!
I think it is going to rain.... And I'm in a rainy kind of mood..... BBL.....
-
Hi, still working on Housekeeping threads. Hope to watch "Fifth Element" now, but DBF is mad. May be back faster than I think! Have a nice evening.
-
Awwwwww Chevy!!!!!
-
sniff.....
-
Taking a TV break-----seeing if DBF is going to start talking. Decide to look up this < 30.00 sale item. It finally found a home in the renovated bathroom. Knocking around a closet b/c I had no place for it. LOL I'm using Lenox as a floor basket. It is a basket designed to be used in the bathroom. It was a mark down from a 100$. Okay at 25.00$ Only other Lenox I have is from my wedding. Cream & sugar from dear friend.
Lenox, Stephanie Ryan, Floral Fusions pattern.

Oh Chevy a space video--see how everyone enjoyed it and if anyone knows about space it's u, well I mean maybe not literally but between u'r ears, well no I don't man that as an insult, but is sure came out like one. Chevy u make me laugh.
-
And Cammi, after I read what you said, I was laughing my butt off.... Ha!
Yes, I AM quite intelligent sometimes, but mostly not.... I just don't want you to think I know what I am talking about.... it's better just to ramble... YOU know what I mean.
I came back to "edit" because I forgot to put an "r" in "after" and it wouldn't look "intelligent" if I made that mistake....and you guys SAW it!
Not that you would have even noticed miss Cam..... xoxoxoxox
-
~Morning all! Happy Labor Day!
sass- now I am flat out jealous! Stunning 'floral fusion'!..... the only 'fusion' I can get begins with 'con'

-

Knock, knock, who's there?
-
Nice pic, Smarty.
Good morning, ladies.
Good to see you, Cam. I've been missing your posts. Did you get that battery yet?
-
Alive4Five -
Smaarty - WOW!!!!
Hope everyone has a relaxing Labor Day.... we are staying home; I'm attempting to clean the bathroom again (had a weird burst of energy on Saturday; worked all day cleaning and throwing out old stuff, then paid for it yesterday - flat out in bed) and maybe start cleaning the bedroom.
OR - maybe I'll get a popsicle and a book and just veg.
Yeah, vegging sounds good.....
xoxo

Hellooooooooo, I spent the day a JC penny's buying curtains for the pool enclosure. If it turns out the way I envision it'll be really cool. Have to search Lowes now.
Hugs! falling more behind yikes! If someone needs me Pm me and I'll check in with my brain.
-

Home, safe & sound....great trip, but always feels good to be home.
Smaarty, cool front door.
Hope all is having a relaxing day..
-
Just a fly by post to tell everyone I'm still here. DH been off on vacation so busy with a few house chores. I read and the forget what I read and end up closing up shop b4 posting anything. Hopefully I will catch back up tomorrow. Love and Hugs.
Hah - Sassy my brain has gone missing also. Lowes sounds like an excellent place to look for it.
I found the magic cure for my increasing shoulder pain. Dang it girl take your calcium pills. Wondering if some of the pain is muscular instead. Better, not cured but tolerable.
