I received a message from Padiddle's son today letting me know that my friend Jean had passed away. I met Jean on these boards 5 yrs ago when I was still stage 3. She was a wonderful, caring person. I will so miss her.

I'm so sad...I also smiled seeing "Padiddle" and Jean's picture. She had a sweet spirit about her...and now her spirit will surely be soaring with no burden of cancer. That's the only part that makes this bearable. Fly free Sister!

Like RonnieKay, I always smiled when I saw "Padiddle" and Jean's face smiling back at me. What a caring and kind person she was. She will be greatly missed by so many who cared for her. I imagine her loved ones have many memories to cherish, and I suspect they will grieve very deeply over their loss. Kandy, you were kind to share this sad news. I also am sorry to know that you lost someone very special to you.
