Survival odds

I was diagnosed with stage 2b, grade 3, nodes 4/12 in February this year.
I have had mastectomy and reconstruction and FEC/T and now the doctor says my odds are as follows:
Without chest wall radiation
5 year survival 25%
10 year survival 0
With radiation
5 year survival 50%
10 year survival 25-50%
I have looked on adjuvantonline and some other apps and it says my survival stats should be in the 60-70% range at 10 years.
Is there something else I should know the readings of? Could my oncotype score impact the odds that much?
The only thing I can think is maybe it's inflammatory but I haven't been told that? Wouldn't I have to be at least stage 3a for that to be so?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Odds/stats are just a compilation of all with the same DX/type. In other words, just an 'average' with all lumped together without taking anything individual into account that can have an effect on individual 'survival rate'. Health at time of Dx, age, outlook on life, lifestyle, etc. will have an effect on your personal 'odds'. Actually anyone's individual odds are either 0% or 100% - either you do or do not have a recurrance/mets. 'You' are a 'whole' so it is either or not for 'you' individually.
What is your DX? ("Thd only thing I can think is maybe it's inflammatory but I haven't been told that"). You should have been told initially what type BC (DCIS, IDC, ILC or IBC). IBC is quite unique in how it forms and is treated and is VERY aggressive and rapid. It is very unusual for recon to be done immediately with most Drs saying at least a year before recon can be done.
It is possible to be Stage II and be IBC but incredibly rare as IBC progresses so aggressively and rapidly by the time it's found it's almost always at least Stage III.
Be very careful of the multitude of sites found on the QUACK Dr Google. Some are very good sotes/info,but there is a lot of bogus junk there too. Most of the sites uze VERY outdated 'research'. Recent advances in TX has increased the survival rates for all types of BC but the stats are usually shown do not reflect these advances.
I can only say what my Dr said - no reason to do oncotype with IBC - neoadjuvant (pre-surgery) chemo is must to get it to shrink and form a 'lump' before surgery is possible.
Talk to your Dr - he/she is the only one who can actually answer/explain your DX.

Maryjo,
I think the medical community have made great strides with ibc. As Bon said, there are quite a few living more than 10 years. I'm 5 years out with inflammatory & idc bc with spinal bone mets. In the first year, the stats really scared me, but now I appreciate each day and know there is no guarantee that I will survive another 5, 20 or 15 years, just hope.
