my therapist said to put warm packs and takr naproxen 3x today. but i know its an infection. there are ssmall squiggly red lines on my arm under the skin. i called him back, i don't think my hospital has a lymphedema specialist. i am scared and i don't know what to do.all i can do really is wait to see him tomorrow. but i may not be able to sleep because of the pain

It sure sounds like an infection and your therapist cannot help you with that. Time to sashay over to the ER so they can get you started on wonderful antibiotics.

TJ, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL MORNING!! Brookside is absolutely right--sashay (or better yet, hustle!) on over to the ER right away. When you get there, say "Lymphedema" and "Cellulitis" to everyone you see--they don't have to be lymphedema experts to get the idea, and they'll be able to help you quickly. This is an emergency, TJ--please go now.

I'm going to add in what everyone else has said - get to an ER ASAP if you haven't already! You do not need a LE Therapist - you need to see a DR for evaluation/medical treatment. 'Squiggle red lines' never good.
