It's a chilly summer night here...good time to head to the bonfire.
Alyson, love the new photo and the grandkids are beautiful. Enjoy them...they do grow fast.
Gma Foley, love your photo, as always. The words are very touching. Sorry for your loss.
It is difficult to comprehend that LInda won't be back here. Her words were always straightforward, filled with wisdom and humility. She loved life, family, and nature. I learned a lot from her.
Linda, I hope your spirit will continue to lurk around the bonfire as we gather around. -
Good morning
Just a friendly reminder that Friday is the monthly party on the STFU thread
Bring ur good stories from this month.
Then we can sit around the bonefire to eat drink and be merry

Firekracker, you are SUCH a pretty woman, unbelievable! That smile has so much candlepower, you could start a fire with it! just a quick good morning to all, hope everyone is alright, and Slowdeepbreathes asked me to tell you all, that she is good, she has her hands pretty full right now, she is a little "pooh'ed" out, and she will be here as soon as she can, and that she is thinking of all of you. she did ask me to tell you yesterday, and i just didn't get to my computer, for two days really. rehab for me today, and a study result consultation, about metabolism disorders after treatment.

GmaFoley - You crack me up! I needed a good laugh.
Had my annual gyn exam yesterday. What a waste of time. I had a total hysterectomy last year and I just don't see the need to have a pap smear. He of course does a breast exam but I also get a breast exam every 6 months when I see my MO. To top it off, instead of filling out the card with my name and address so they can mail me the results - which has been common practice - I now have to go back in 3 weeks for the results. Again, a huge waste of time and another way for the doctor to get more money out of my insurance. Okay! I am through bitching.
-
Good Morning Goddesses,
It's early here on the left coast - I've got a crazy busy day ahead of me.
Kracker, I love that shirt!
GMA, Thanks for the well needed laugh!
Joan, so good to see you!!
Jo, I refuse to have an office visit to get results. I tell my doctors ahead of time if they don't want to tell me my results over the phone, then I don't need to know. I don't care what kind of news it is they're not getting an extra office visit out of me - not to mention the added stress of having to wait. I just think it's ridiculous and such a waste of time for everybody. Guess I'll never win the favorite patient award.
Hope you all have a wonderful day. My daughter seems to be feeling a bit better as of last night, so I'm hopeful things will turn around for her this weekend.
Love to all!
Edited to add: Special thanks to Kathe for passing along my message and for being such a good person....You rock!!
