My onco score came back as 7 so my oncologist put me on Tamoxifen for 10 years and said I did not need Chemo because it wouldn't make a big difference.  Now my Genetic work up has come back and I have a gene called NBN which increases my reoccurrence by 30%.  From my understanding average is 12% so I am now 2.5% more likely for reoccurrence.  I'm wondering if during my visit tomorrow my oncologist will recommend Chemo but I have no idea who to ask or if any of you have ever had the same scores as I have.  I'm new to this whole discussion board and I don't open up very well to others but I feel like I'm gonna go crazy.  This roller coaster I know is worth it in the end.

It sounds as though you have invasive breast cancer (IDC) and not DCIS.  You may want to repost this in the IDC forum (or the Just Diagnosed forum) in order to get some response from women who've been in a similar situation. DCIS women do not get chemo, and the DCIS Oncotype test is used to help with the decision on whether or not radiation might be beneficial.

Good luck with the oncologist tomorrow!
