If I had known, I would never have got a breast reduction in the first place, I now have 3 lumps on scar line and am getting them checked out tomorrow. Will this EVER end? My breast is 1/3 full of fat necrosis and I'm debating whether I should get that removed.

A mascetomy is not the solution, even after that I hear weird things can appear!

Best

Yeah, certainly weird stuff can still happen even after mastectomy....

Well, my thought is that if what I have going on now, after PBMX, can be identified and safely categorized as B9, then unless they become a problem - and by that I mean rapid growth, painful, or affecting the implants in some way, then I'm probably going to leave them be.  I don't want more surgery.  As you found out, sometimes in addition to solving problems, it can create more (different) problems.  So, I think this is just going to be part of my new normal - for a while anyway - and I'm hopping back on the 6 month watch & wait train.

I really don't expect my 6 month checks to find anything.  I don't think my BS does either.  It's just more of a monitoring protocol for benign appearing masses.  I started off 6 months ago with 4, it's since doubled to 8, and we've biopsied 1.  So far, so good, I guess!

    Hi,

Oh yes, I have found that out. Still debating what to do about large area of fat necrosis. Will discuss the matter with PS next week.

I have been advised not to remove FN and put implant in at the same time but to do it as a two way procedure.

I'm on year checks but have insisted on 6 months checks. Lets see. I'll get a second opinion from London too and then start making decisions. I want to know if the fat necrosis can be left safely in, in that case, I might not wish to do anything about it, not for a few years anyway. I'm more concerned about the brain!

    Anyways, take care,

    Alicki
