I don't Knit, but I have tattoos (permanent eye liner).......I sew too.....have 3 sewing machines, all in working order, one an old old antique Singer was bought used....only straight ahead stitch, not even a back up stitch, that still works that made many formals for my friends and myself, wedding party dresses for several wedding before I was 20, and some baby things for friends, and later for my babies.  Bought my 2nd Singer machine, with some bells and whistles but never used it much....and I have a serger which I never gave it much use.....because I HAVE to READ DIRECTION....duh....probably would  love it

It is 57 degrees and I am loving it...

I don't knit or have tattoos, but I cook like I am on the food network...lol. I just made 5 gallons of marinara sauce (froze most of it) with all of the tomatoes from this year's bounty. Fresh basil was really plentiful this year too so will make some pesto as well...mmmmm, yum. Making myself hungry and I just had a string cheese and two small clementines..LOL.

I have tattoos since surgery (my nips)

I sew - a lot!!  I have three sewing machines, but really only use one (one is an antique that someone gave my husband long before I met him, one is a 45 year old Elna, that I need to take in and see if it can get cleaned up.  It only does straight stitch and zigzag, but it was a WONDERFUL machine for a lot of years.  The one that is my pride and joy, though is a Babylock that will practically talk if you let it.  I spent a fortune on it, so take REALLY good care of it, as there is no way I could afford to replace it.  I'd like to buy a serger, but I think I'll need to make-do with what I've got.

But what I really love to do is dye silk.  that is far and away my favorite hobby.  I'm not saying I'm great at it or even good at it - just saying I love doing it - it's kinda like making mudpies, but for adults!!  :)

GG, I am sort of like you in the 3 machines!  one antique treadle, one about 40 yrs old and one expensive thing about 6 years old.  Yeap, the new fangled ones I am convinced it will make coffee but the store insists I buy an attachment!!!

That's great news GMA! I hope you get an earlier appointment!

Not sure of my day tomorrow, so I will post my good news now.

Ultrasound of my nodes on left side was negative.

    Bone scan was also negative.

Got a wonderful "happy" shot yesterday from my RA doctor.

...and, the best news of all - my daughter is starting to improve a bit!!!

Well, I just lost my Good News post...
Happy end of August and enjoy the week end.  Too tired to re-write the post.
I hate Windows 8 (that's kind of bad news) but good news is I do like having a new laptop.  I just can't keep it on the right page.
