A dimple on my breast has turned my world upsidedown

I'm a newbie- thought I was too old- 73 but don't feel or act it. I'm a nurse, working part time until this, volunteering, doing qi gong and loving life. My gyn felt something, the mammo was negative, the us showed density and the MRI showed cancer. I've had CT scans of everything- PET . I have the CT reports but not the PET. The CT showed little lesions indeterminate on liver ,spleen and adrenal. I've heard that little "warts" are found that have nothing to do with cancer-just from living and maybe were there for 20 years but of course I am worried. I never had CT of anything before except head when I hit my head on a kitchen counter. Any thoughts anyone?

Clouds,
I have not heard of them doing Pet & CT scans before a biopsy, but different Drs. & centers do things differently.
Everyone past a certain age has bumps, warts, incidentals....have they scheduled a biopsy?

I have a dimple on the underside of my breast when I flex my muscle. My mammo was normal, my parasternal lymph nodes are swollen. I am 34. The surgeon agreed to do a exicisional biopsy of the nodes to ease my anxiety. Why would she do this if she thought it was nothing? I do have dense breast. The skin feels kind of scrunched together next to the dimple/indentation. Genny5775, I hope you are doing well considering the circumstances. Hang in there.

Fierconewiththree, Good for you on getting the biopsy, it can't hurt. And not getting it could hurt. My mammograms were all normal, wish I had found the dimpling much sooner. Even the area on my breast wasn't crazy suspicious with the CT but my nodes were large. I don't mean to scare you, hopefully they are swollen for another reason but better safe than sorry. My BS told me before the biopsy that she would be surprised if it wasn't cancer. I think we were all surprised with how advanced it turned out to be. When do you get the biopsy? Hang in there, let me know what you find out. Good luck to you.

Genny5775, On the 4th of September. She the surgeon thought I had breast augmentation when she saw the dimple and indentation. I said never. My breast took on this odd shape at the end of May and the parasternal nodes were swollen at the same time and they have not gone down. Which prompted me to go to the surgeon. I cannot find too much on them on the internet, except advanced cancer and what not. So I stopped googling. 10 out of 11 nodes had cancer? I see you got bumped to stage IIIc. Congrats on your granddaughter and prayers to you and your family. I will let you let you know what the case of my mysterious boob condition is.
