What should I do?
I feel a little embarrassed to be asking here, but I don't know where else can I go. In advance, Thanks for your attention.
I had a surgery to take a fibroadenoma from my Right breast 19 years ago.
2 years ago I had a core needle biopsy. They found microcalcifications in my left breast. And two more fibroadenomas.
Today I went for a Mammo and ecographie, because the last memo showed "a finding".
Clearly you can see an irregular mass. They repeat the exams. At the end the Dr said that looks OK. She can see the mass in the mammo but not in the eco. And the razon may be my dense breast. I have to come back in 6 months.
Should I check with another dr? Or sounds correct?

Welcome to BCO Sus. We're glad you found us but sorry you had to.
There is no need for embarassment here, your question is well put and you are understandably concerned. Dense breasts are hard for Mammograms to clearly read so Ultrasounds (same as French ecographie) are commonly requested. A 6 month call-back is a common protocol, but you are always entitled to request a second opinion from another Doctor.

Hi Sus,
Don't be embarrassed to ask questions here; everyone is so supportive.
I don't think a second opinion is ever a bad idea. If you seek a second opinion, make sure you have copies of your records, tests, scans and so on when you meet with the doctor. Another option would be to stick with your first doctor and tell them how concerned you are... that you would like to find out what the mass is now.
I was given the option to wait six months and repeat tests, and I am so glad I didn't wait. I wanted answers as soon as possible, which lead to my diagnosis. An early diagnosis gave me so many more treatment options.
Wish you the best!

I am a believer in 2nd opinions, if the doc is unclear to you or if you are not comfie, get answers

Thank you so much, you all, for your answers.
I totally trust in the place they make the mammograms and the ultrasounds, but I will check around in my area, just to be sure.
Thanks again for your time and comprehension.

I ask the same question: What should I do!? I went through breast cancer last June & this May I'm diagnosed with a brain tumor!!! Please read more details on my recent post under " Newly Diagnosed". I need answers?! I'm told by my MO & MR & surgeon that there is malignant & benigned tumors. But this Neuroligist specialist I went to said that's not true- he said ALL tumors are cancer!!! Malignant tumors are fast growing cancer & benign tumors are slow growing cancer. Does anyone know if this is true? Do I have any hope? Please help! I'm a true mess after this recent diagnose
