Need help to determine if I am paranoid this morning!

While I wait for my MOs office to open I turn to you ladies! I have my exchange next week and had my pre op appt yesterday. They found a new right bundle branch block on my EKG (last one in June was normal). As the wheels turn I realize one cause is PE, which I know can be caused by Tamoxifen. I am waiting to call my MO to ask if I need a scan to rule this out. Am I crazy or just proactive? I would hate to go in to surgery with this possibility! I know a right bundle branch block isn't in itself concerning, but as to WHY I have it since this whole cancer thing started is driving me crazy. Thanks.

    good morning, I don't think you are having the surgery if this is a concern for the dr. BUT if you are worried talk to your mo. Better safe then sorry.

    That's the problem. My friend is my NP and she did my pre op. We didn't even discuss Tamoxifen until I was going out the door and she added it to my med list. I don't think she put two and two together with the EKG finding and tamoxifen. We were gabbing too much. So she left for vaca this morning and I can't discuss with her. Getting ready to call my MO.

    nevermind, he called back and said I was "young and healthy" so he wanted me to consult a cardiologist. Forget it. My surgery is Wednesday there is no way I can get in to a cardiologist so if the MO isn't worried, I'm not.
