Just logged on to answer PM's and check in quickly. My daughter is back in urgent care for her stomach issues. They are running a full battery of tests. She had a fever yesterday so who knows what's going on with her now. Not sure what they will do next for her. I'm leaving for her house in an hour, so if I'm not on for awhile, that's where I'll be.
Love to all.

Slow.....sent a PM.....

I seem to be missing everyone's birthdays. Happy Birthday, Blondie. Loved the way you decided to spend it only with your kids for dinner. What a great idea. Big hugs to you. I hope you are feeling well. -
thanks peeps, i was supposed to do it when I decided to stop chemo but was in the hospital, so told them I wanted to do it for my birthday, wish we could have spent more time, next year, will do it for longer, some how, KRACKER dd2 bought me a strawberry shortcake with whipped creme icing, and she bought me another one just for me, well I cut it and will take a pix of the left overs, gave the twins a piece but that was it for them, hopefully they will keep their hands out of it...thanks aly, I love it...

Nancy - Good luck tomorrow. I will be in your pocket holding your hand so don't freak out if you feel your hand being squeezed. It is just me letting you know I am there.
FK - I'm here! Been busy all day cleaning my living room. Moved furniture around, cleaned the filthy ceiling and floor. Done for the day and now relaxing in my chair.

Alyson,
When did you take the picture of me dancing around the bonfire? I love that dress because it shows off all of my best features! N O T! Don't I wish? But I can dream, can't i?
Slow: I'm glad your daughter is feeling a bit better. As difficult as it is to deal with cancer I think it's much harder to deal with a son or daughter being sick!! Especially when the docs aren't sure what is going on!
Sounds like its beach season for us MBC sisters! Wish we could all go together. We leave for our beach week on Saturday. I love sitting in the sand by the ocean, listening to the surf, smelling Copertone , I don't even mind getting sand in my suit anymore. At the beach I seem to be able to let my mind settle and all the negative stuff just falls away!
{{{hugs to everyone}}}

Your QUEEN is checking in. Where is ducky???? Haven't seen her on here lately.
Talked to a friend who comes to deep south Texas in the winter yesterday. She a mammo before she left in the spring and there was something suspicious. Got home, had another mammo and MRI. She had stage 2 IDC in BOTH breasts!!! The mammos picked up one side but not the other. She had 2 lumpectomies and has started rads and Arimidex. She did not have to do chemo. Please say a prayer for her. I will see her in late Sept.
Have I said lately that I hate this damn beast!! Enough already.
-
