Awaiting surgery date

Hello Everyone,

I was recently diagnosed with stage 1 and also BRCA 2 positive.

I am awaiting my date for surgery for bmx and reconstruction.

I've been reading this site for several weeks and wanted to introduce myself.

 IDC, 1cm, Stage I, Grade 3, ER+/PR+, HER2-

    Hello Sunny, sorry you have to be here with the rest of us. I have IDC 2cm Stage 1a Grade 2 ER+ PR+ HER2- My BRCA2 was - so I just had a lumpectomy and I know your going crazy waiting for your date. I had my surgery July 30 now I have to have a second surgery because I have one stubborn margin that didnt want to come clean and I am going crazy waiting for that and to get started with my radiation and tamoxfin tx. You will meet a lot great ladies here who will give you a lot of  support. Just know you are not alone and this is a safe place where you can vent what you feel you need to. At least that is what I have found.

    Thanks Nancy.  It is very frustrating playing the waiting game.  As like most people, I'd just like to get it done and get on the road to recovery and health.  Long road..... but it starts with one step right?!

    Trying to read a lot of tips regarding surgery and get those ducks in a row.  The more I can help myself beforehand, the better I will be.  DH is around but no one else.  We moved to town (30 days ago) in between 'suspicious mammo' and the rest.  Definitely overwhelming.
