very cool!! Its something to do with being divisible by 9 - right? But how does he know which number I'm doing each time?

That's what I can't figure out...there has to be a trick to it...but I haven't got a clue!

No trick. The answer is ALWAYS divisible by 9, and every multiple of 9 has the same symbol.

Hm... but each time I did it the symbol was different. They mustchange the multiples of 9 each time - right?

OK - I'm guessing that each time you plug in a number you get a multiple of 9. On the symbols chart all the multiples of 9 will be the same symbol. What was confusing was that they had different symbols each time. Now, I haven't tried it but my guess is that they change the symbols but make sure the multiples of 9 are all the same.

Does that sound right?
