so I had my BMX 11 weeks ago have TE' and getting fills.  Yesterday I noticed a white dot on my incision line.  I have had no problems healing and didn't have chemo or rads has anyone else had this happen?  I see my PS on Monday. The skin isn't opened but the dot is on my red incision line.  Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi lulivesay - Congrats on no problems healing! I had several bumps near the incision and I learned from these boards and from my PS that they were probably undissolved or dissolving stiches. Mine disappeared after a bit. Take care!

Hi,  I had my mx almost 5 years ago and still have a white dot on the incision line. I've had mammos & mri's and nothing seems amiss.  J

It's most likely at stitch trying to work its way out.  As said previously, they usually resolve themselves.  However, keep an eye on it for any redness or oozing and call you doctor if you do see that.  I had a few stitches try and work their way out and went into the doctor each time for her to snip and clean. In my eyes, always better to be safe than sorry! Smile

    Take care!

If you have questions....see if you can take a photo on your phone and send it to your surgeon's nurse.  I had to do that with something when I was out of town after my nipple surgery.  It helped to talk to the nurse after she had seen the photo.
